  1. Past hour
  2. Well that was easy, $1.40 washer and no more drips. Simple pleasures!
  3. Today
  4. No, they're for later models.
  5. And , they are the correct diameter ?
  6. I know a number of YouTubers use two separate devices for moto video; obviously the cameras, but they put a sound recorder under the tail section, or wherever the sound is best. Then they honk the horn so they have a point to synchronize, and add the exhaust sound over the video, sometimes with a voiceover if the camera sound is ugly.
  7. I just bought a set of swingarm pins for the V11, shipped via DHL Germany, shipping total was $5.00 US. $5.00 Huh. Edit; 5 Euros, actually.
  8. Just refreshed the bike with a new colour scheme. its a red vinyl wrap over the previous grey and silver paint. I wanted to preserve the original paint but give it a new look. Very happy with the result.๐Ÿ‘
  9. STEVE KIRK

    V10 CENTAURO CUSTOM CAFE RACER

1998 Guzzi Centauro custom build Cafe Racer.
  10. Is this the same? http://www.eaglescreens.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/M17Pricess.jpg
  11. Do Eagle Screens do one? I think itโ€™s the same screen used on the Balabio and Titanium amount others. Eagle may have a mould or whatever. Can you post up a pic? I can enquire after the weekend if you wish?
  12. New or used
  13. Here are the photos so you can judge; the BMW one fits both sides, while the Quota has a distinct part number for the left or right side. I was amazed to find out these are directly listed from BMW Motorrad, and the catalog have the spare parts available for ALL their motorcycles, including the vintage ones... Obviously, BMW has the financial strength to do that. You can still order pistons for your R-90S from the 70's....
  14. Shipping my Quota's Tachometer/Speedometer to Germany from the US: 200 USD cheapest I found with FedEx, including a big mess since they did not enter it as temporary importation, but permanent. Even if I had clearly filled in the custom document. Shipping from Germany, 50 EUR up to 3kg... A lot of the riding gear is also half price in Europe compared to here. And this was before the import taxes were changed.
  15. Let's just say that "wind noise" would have been a welcome improvement. That said, I would love to get some riding video/audio using your expert tips. Thanks for sharing those with us!
  16. and what did you have to do today?
  17. Good technical advice. I would trade what I had to do today for wind noise . . .
  18. Yesterday
  19. Nice film, but the wind noise is annoying. If you want to reduce that, find the apeture for the microphone, and stick a nice thick bit of low-density foam rubber over it. To find the apeture, have a look at the camera, and when you think you have it, make a recording and scratch lightly on the hole you think is the mic. If you've got it, it will be obvious on the recording.
  20. Where I live, there is no such thing as "overkill" . . ---> It's kil't. Or it ain't. I've put sixty-six tires on mySport (and had the wheels and suspension parts off numerous other times). It only fell off the jacks once . Belt + suspenders for ever . . .
  21. We like overkill . Cheers Tom.
  22. Just saying transport is ridiculous both ways. Ordered 3 fuse boxes from US, may be 60gr, freight 206 $. What. Shipped to sister in-law in NY 9$. Cheers Tom.
  23. Do these rubber inserts drop in place ?
  24. That's the one I purchased. It is slightly longer, but it is a drop in place. It's 20.66 EUR from BMW, with VAT, so 17 EUR tax free. https://www.pieces-bmw-moto.fr/bmw-moto/affectation_pieces_detachees/46711242109
  25. I wish I could take credit for the tuning. We do get congestion at the usual peak hours. In the summer I like to get out about 5am and have the whole Island to myself. Nice sounding pipes are next on the list. I'd love to hear it reverberating around the mountains.
  26. Looks like you have her in a lovely state of tune, there, @Molly! Not sure how you can stand all that traffic congestion . . .
