I really have a hard time believing that he was pushing. There wasn't any reason to justify that he had to. One of the (plausible?) explanation was that he lost the bike by going over the curb, which (according to pundits) in the USA are not coated with anti-skid paint. Now, I completely trust that he is quite the astute man, on top of being an incredible pilot. The way he did a 180 degrees with his career, by leaving mighty Honda (including an even higher salary to stay) for a second fiddle team. this was a very bold move. I am not underevaluating Francesco Bagnaia, but when it comes to being a snake, Marc Marquez will prevail. It is being whispered that Valentino Rossi is 100% mentoring Francesco on what traps may lie ahead of him.

No argument here on that. But you do need to be more then the fastest guy, you also have to be smart. And while Marc of late has been smart, he clearly wasn't in that race. He had a decent lead but was still pushing, still riding at and over his limit. And it led to his crash. Pecco has done similar in the past, but seems to have learned. Marc has done similar in the past (at that very track no less) and while mostly he seemed to have learned, that time he threw that out the window in what seemed like an attempt to dominate the race and show everyone that he is the superior racer. And that failed. They don't pay points based on how much you win by, or even how many laps you led. That was Marcs track, that was not a race Pecco was expecting to win, or probably even challenge Marc. The race was Marc's to lose, and he did. It will be interesting to see how things go now that we are getting to tracks that don't favor Marc like the first few races have, now that we are getting to tracks that may even favor Pecco. Will the Marc of old surface? And how will Ducati deal with that? Or will he rise above his old ways. He didn't at COTA.

As you see in the first photo, this is how it was sent. Disconnected item 9 from the angle gear 8. The angle gear was left connected to the instrument. But this was my fault as I did not check how tight it was when I got it back. There is no visual access to the actual angle gear/instrument connection. You need to remove dashboard plate item 1 on the drawing to be able to access or examine the connection. Only the item 9 connector is accessible and visible. The hose clamp were tightened around the screwable caps. Since those caps are made of plastic, the hose clamp would put pressure on the cap preventing it from turning. Those clamps were there already. I do not know if one of the previous owner experienced a similar issue. Something else; Noticed on the drawing item 3 and 4? Item 4 is a nilstop nut; Item 3 is not properly represented. There are 3 rubber washers, one spacer. I installed two of the rubber washers above and below the spacer, and one directly between the fairing and the fairing mount which is not shown in this drawing. There is no detail of how it should be installed.

Yeah, they are pretty rough all right. Just a heads up if anyone hasn't noticed that they wear away on the back side. I made up a stainless "shoe" that fit over the Mighty Scura's foot and epoxied it on.

They slayed it ! The original was 6mins 7 seconds and theirs was 6mins 15 seconds. Machine Head was a perfect LP. i bought the 8-track . I hope everyone is that old ? Hush was the first song I heard from them fully equipped w/the wolf howl at the intro. Then I will never understand how they took a polite song from Neil Diamond and ELECTRIFIED it w/100,000 v ! KENTUCKY WOMAN . Back to this group , it is incredible to see kids that age play with all their heart and play every note as though it is their last time on the planet Earth .

Looked closely and measured both the 04 and the 01. Looks the same to me.

Instead of loctite, you could use a very very small amount of Blue Hylomar on the thread, would provide enough "stickiness" w/o creating a locking situation. I couldn't imagine how it would spin off by itself unless it was well enough loose, or the Quota is like a paint shaker and vibrates like hell. Seems unlikely though.

Because somebody was looking at this topic, I had a look, and looked at the Avon site. It seems that they are still in the game. https://www.avontyres.com/de-de/reifen/?cartype=motorcycle

No, I couldn't work out which one it was. Changing the t-shirt fooled me completely. I will refrain from comparisons to Jon Lord, because that would be silly. I had the great fortune to encounter him on a couple of jobs. Polite, friendly, a real gentleman. Musically: the second time was one of those "rock meets classic" things. The orchestra was a combination of a semi-professional orchestra and students from a commercial "music academy". The finale was a Deep Purple melody, of course. They rehearsed it once without the man, and it was all correct. Then he came on stage. First thing was, the organ sounded different (better) when he played it than when the organ-hire bloke played it after he set it up. How does that work? A Hammond organ is a machine. You push a button, and a noise comes out. And on top of that, the rehearsal without was, as I said, correct. With him playing along, all of a sudden it also grooved. One man pulled an entire orchestra into the groove. Not bad, I reckon... So it would be silly to draw comparisons between a teenage girl and someone like that. The same applies to the guitarist that played the solos. She has potential, but needs a few years. Ritchie Blackmore was an experienced and creative guitarist when that song was produced. No comparison, so no comment.

You said you did not check this when it came back from the service center? We have no way to know if it was tight or not? Get it about as snug as you would reseal a 2 liter soda. Put a dob of yellow paint pencil on it and run it a while and see what happens. I can't see what the hose clamp is doing so I can't comment on it.
