Hansson 16 Posted July 8, 2015 Very nice. What fairing is that? Hi Craig! The bike is basically a Ballabio. I have had problems with heavy turbulence around the helmet with the Ballabio bikini fairing. It has been created loudly, and very irritating noise. So loud that I didn't hear the sound of the engine at speeds over 70 km/h (44 mph). Catastrophe! Of course, I have tried different helmets, but without success. I have now solved the problem by installing a fairing, designed by Pierre Terblance, for the 900 SS. I almost think Pierre Terblance designed this fairing just for the V11, considering the design and fit. The lines of the fairing match other details on the bike extremely well. The fairing works super on this bike. Turbulence is gone and I can now hear the engine at speeds over 150 km/h (94 mph). I have of course also changed to clip ons. Now I have a happy ride! Cheers
Craig 53 Posted July 18, 2015 Nice, I have mounted a Larverda SFC 750 fiaring for many of the same reasons. The Ballabio bikini fairing looks nice but it puts the turbulence at exactly the wrong place.
Calijackalbob 18 Posted August 1, 2015 Looks cool! Personally I like this one more. (Sorry) Looks more old school......... http://www.motocykl-online.cz/img/galery/motocykly-z-casopisu-motocykl-12-2010-moto-guzzi-v11-sport-cafe_1.jpg
