big unit Posted April 10, 2004 Share Posted April 10, 2004 Has anyone with a New V11 under warranty experienced water (when riding in the rain) getting into their gearbox via the breather. And if so, what did the dealer do to fix, or has this problem been remedied in the later models. I would like to know as this is a problem. Cheers. While a few people have complained of this, for the most part I've rarely heard of it happening or causing damage. So, as far as I've heard, no warrantee claims have been made in relation to the breather. There are quite a few comments though on your first thread on the subject, including links to my inner fender modification which seems to be a simple and effective solution.
