Animal Mother Posted April 28, 2012 Posted April 28, 2012 The Challenge Question on the registration screen is a bit too vague and it makes it very difficult to register. The current question is: What is this forum about? The current answer is: V11 The answer could be one of many things. A better question could be: Where in the world are Moto Guzzi motorcycles made?

Animal Mother Posted April 28, 2012 Author Posted April 28, 2012 Ok. What country are Moto Guzzi's made in? I had to look on another forum, to a post where someone else had asked the question to find the answer to your anti spambot question. I'm only trying to help.
Chuck Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 We *might* show you the secret handshake.. If you tell us all about your V11S, where you are, maybe a picture, etc..
jrt Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I'll give you hint. They have running water and electricity. Usually.
Animal Mother Posted May 1, 2012 Author Posted May 1, 2012 We *might* show you the secret handshake.. If you tell us all about your V11S, where you are, maybe a picture, etc.. No V11 (yet), check my details for location and I'll update a picture now.
AndyH Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Ok. What country are Moto Guzzi's made in? I had to look on another forum, to a post where someone else had asked the question to find the answer to your anti spambot question. I'm only trying to help. Yeah, this one had me baffled. I remember I tried: V11 Sport Moto Guzzi LeMans V11 LeMans Motorcycles (went generic here) Bikes (even more generic) Funny, just 'V11' never occurred to me. In the end I had to trouble Jaap to help me out and that was over New Year when he probably had much better things to do. Oh well, it was indeed a challenge question and this dumb spambot failed it! ferguzzi Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 I've had dealing with a gent here, who eventually has given up in disgust. I think the forum would have more guests if it wasn't as vague as it is....

I think the forum would have more guests if it wasn't as vague as it is.... I think you mean "more members" Again, meanwhile, the answer is V11 I guess we just keep bumping this to the top until somebody takes notice.
ferguzzi Posted January 11, 2015 Posted January 11, 2015 Yeah, I stand corrected. Still, you know what I mean....
docc Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 I've learned of two more people who gave up registering. Which probably represents many, many more. Is the question really necessary? How can we make the forum more accessible yet remain secure?
Zooter Posted November 13, 2015 Posted November 13, 2015 Use a different question with a sensible single answer. Lots of Italians would be tripped up with Italia / Italy, possibly also other European types with less English. How many wheels on a MotoGuzzi? Two. Done.
yocarlos90 Posted November 21, 2015 Posted November 21, 2015 I had trouble with "challenge" question on Firefox and had to register on Chrome, then log back in on Firefox. Also, couldn't easily find a "webmaster" to nag. So yes.....you're successfully keeping the noobs guessing. Cheers!
