gthyni Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 Excellent, only 1500 km from home Are there any ferries from Göteborg to Jylland so my poor arse can get some recovery time before joining the meeting.
antonio carroccio Posted February 4, 2005 Posted February 4, 2005 160 dkk=22 Euro.....right? How about the weather? How is the weather at that time in Denemark usually?
tikkanen Posted February 6, 2005 Author Posted February 6, 2005 160 dkk=22 Euro.....right? How about the weather? How is the weather at that time in Denemark usually? 42565 Yup, that's 22 Euro. Normally the weather is good in July but I won't take it to the bank: Last year it was p...ing down all summer but then again all European countries had crap weather in the summer of 2004. "Are there any ferries from Göteborg to Jylland so my poor arse can get some recovery time before joining the meeting?" Yes Göran, you can take the ferry from Gothenburg/Göteborg to Frederikshavn. That's on the northern tip of Denmark. I have some more info regarding the rally on this thread. The page is available in English and Italian, too. Søren
vtwin Posted March 21, 2005 Posted March 21, 2005 Hi, Quite a few fellow guzziriders are interested in coming to Denmark... About the campsite, do they have any cabins, or is it just tents and so on? I already have my sleepingbag, but still missing a tent. :-o - Marko

Alex-Corsa Posted March 25, 2005 Posted March 25, 2005 Excellent, only 1500 km from home That's just about 1700km from Venice. I would love to get there, it really is far away and at that time is not really on my schedule, though the meeting programm sound just great and I always wanted to visit Danemark. I don't know, I really don't
tikkanen Posted March 25, 2005 Author Posted March 25, 2005 Just checking, will be back soon with a reply. Søren 46685 Haven't forgot you, folks, but the person I'm after is away for Easter holiday. Will get an answer soon. Sorry about the inconvenience. Søren
tikkanen Posted April 5, 2005 Author Posted April 5, 2005 Hi again. Sorry for the delay but I finally managed to get in touch with somebody who could cough up with an answer. There are no more cabins available on the site. However, if you check the local tourist information office on www.visitaarhus.com they will be able to get you in contact with local B&B's. You can also call one of the locals who rent out apartments. Her name is Lissy Johansen, tlph +45 86 39 13 68. Give me a shout if you need any assistance. Søren
belfastguzzi Posted April 6, 2005 Posted April 6, 2005 Is anyone from U.K. direction considering going to this?
vtwin Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Hi, thanks Søren, I think we're going with tents.. the weather should be fine in July.. and it's only 3 nights. - marko
tikkanen Posted June 28, 2005 Author Posted June 28, 2005 (edited) Hi again, Here's the latest weather forecast for the next five days: As you can see there's no excuse for staying home so get on your bikes and come to Denmark! What intentionally should have been a Nordic Guzzi Meeting turns out to become an European rally. So far riders from UK, Germany, The Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Hungary and Scandinavia have signed up for the Meeting I'll be standing at the entrance on Friday and Saturday (and you can probably find me in the bar later on....) so stop by and say hi if you see me. Looking forward to seeing you. My Webpage Cheers Søren Edited June 28, 2005 by tikkanen
