  1. Well, due to my side panels being horrible and scratched, I sanded them down and painted them, then stuck my badges back on, not bad for rattle cans!

  3. Left Cross Junction this morning; overnighting in Fort Chiswell, Va. Will arrive in Tellico late tomorrow afternoon. Took back roads. Lovely. Map here, tho the 6 hours, 43 minutes is a Google Giggle: Detailed route here if you care: Cross Junction to Fort Chiswell via Back Roads Well, lovely except for the four miles of terrorizing and unexpected "plush" gravel on Va. CR 610 from Pulaski to vic. Max Meadows. Simply awful and no road for a Norge with just repainted painnier$! I took the pic at the only flat and relatively clean spot I could find. See you tomorrow. Bill P.S. Kathi is caging it; may beat me there.

  4. Aw, shucks . . . Seriously, everything I've posted about relays, and tune-up, and so many other things, are just complex issues that I learned the parameters and solutions from folks here, and other reliable sources, and made compilations that are (hopefully) easily searched and found. You guys deserve quality, searchable, and concise threads that keep these V11 on the road and safe.

  5. Yep. Sending or wasting surplus energy to ground was funny English pre-war technology. They had bikes with heated foot pegs for this. Balancing was necessary with magnets-based light/spark installations on light 50cc bikes. Rather tricky systems, but light and cheap. Which site is still spreading such things in context with modern bikes?

  7. Hi all, FWIW: I used to update the Tenni Registry, but I haven't done it for quite a few years. So please don't be annoyed if you don't see your Tenni listed in the original post.

  8. Soooo... Pulled into the kid's place in Martin, GA about 11:30. Brought the Mille GT for him to ride. Seat's missing, probably somewhere in the Atlanta construction. Who brought a spare? :/

  12. Hi to All, I have Been 20 years drooling over greenies, bought and sold a few other guzzies and still have a handfull from Airone to Stevio (now for sale). I serviced a friend's Cafe Nero recently and could not keep my eyes off it: Marabese is a genius , it must be one of the cleanest motorcycle design of all times. Anyway this same friend told me of a Greenie for sale in Dublin, and it just happened that he had to go there in a couple of days. So we went , saw and conquered... without blood nor money changing hands. (straight swap) So there she is, one of the earliest 99 Greenie with ZGUKR0000111243 it makes it the 132nd produced and the engine at 111200 the 99th produced. All original, new relays excellent body work but the usual eczema on the engine paint.: thinking of a quiet day with a dremel and a couple of beers. I have a 1985 T5 for over 20 years and the cases are just powerwashed from time to time with a thin coat of ACF50, they look finethat way and don't oxydate. I ordered some risers from China for a tenner including postage as i am not as flexible as i used to be and might fabricate a peg lowering kit myself in due time . Anyway, I am looking forward to read your posts and exchange with you all, being an ignorant of all things electronic I will be needing your wisdom .resetting tps and all obscure things like that...i am in essence a magneto man : one wire from Mag to plug and basta!
