  2. Along the brake vein, the (nearing) 114,000 mile Sport got a fresh rear rotor and Bridgestone T31 today (32nd rear tire!). Fresh Brembo pads to bed the new rotor. All clinical and torqued and LocTited . . . wheel bearings checked out. Klüber Staburags on the drive hub. Thanks, Josh!!

  3. Welldone, man! For best results, mind your battery conditioning . . .

  4. Today I tried this for the first time on my Scura. The fact that my battery chose today to take a dump didn't make it easier. I did manage to get it done using the Guzzidiag method though. My trim was +96!!! Set it to 0 and just revved a few times stationary. Seems better. Will know for sure when I install new battery. Still have to do decent tune-up, bought plugs and wires but need new throttlebody intake boots.

  5. It arrived. It seems like a Coppa fairing. There are decal artifacts that indicate it had another decal looping under the red one..... Also, the silver paint looks original, the same shade as my '00 Sport. The part number MG 01.57.75.80 doesn't turn up anything, but since OEM parts generally start with "GU", it may be a Stucchi. It is ABS or some kind of thick plastic, not fiberglass. In any case, the headlight opening looks a little small for my Sport and its chrome headlight bezel, but I have to do a proper test fit. I am busy sorting my nearly-new Stelvio, so I'll get to it later......

  6. Docc, i’ll Leave the lights on in my shop so you can come do your cleaning magic to my machines any time! Just a quick hop over the hills (intercontinental divide... whatever) from your place to mine. I’ve started the fall/winter process of chasing down the loose ends for winter mx. Got the data cables coming, will download guzzidiag, etc., but chewing on what to do about the lack of a rear hugger. Mostly to protect that rear shock. Better to chase down a stock hugger, or go try and find a Ghezzi-brian unit? I see the ghezzi unit on line but haven’t found a source yet to buy them, so don’t even know price. Any hot leads?

  7. I looked in "Fileshare", but do not see them. I had few cut by my local vinyl sign maker some time ago. That was only used by MotoGuzzi on race bikes, AFAIK, from about 1949-1951. I so love the asymmetry. The "Art Deco" . . .

  8. Finally got rid of the crappy stock brake rotors. New T-drive Brembos with Braking pads. This combo should be smooth as glass and one finger braking...mostly lol Looking at the stockers, the Galfer green pads didn't love them, either. Pulsing, jerky, pull-to-one-side, inconsistent lever bastages. Can't wait to try these out, maybe tomorrow.

  9. Time for a few photos in the dedicated thread. After a fairly good sprucing up. In addition to the LED headlight, it now has LED signals with an electronic adjustable-rate flasher. Once my acute bronchitis fades, more miles are waiting.

  10. I run the Meinolf map in my V11 and it is great. Night and day difference. His map is for the 15M ECU. You just need the proper cables and a laptop with the writer program. It only takes a minute to flash the new map on. Back up your old one first. That takes about 10-15 minutes. Adjust valves, reset the TPS to 157mv and balance the throttle bodies and you will have a great running V11.
