  6. I found a deal a clean, low-mileage neglected one. Here is a thread about that. I sold it after enjoying it for a while. I saw it for sale again with quite a few more miles on it recently. We all "helped" SwooshDave find a Greenie a while back... and he still seems to like (or at least tolerate) us.

  7. To be honest? Get what you can get by its condition. Less molested the better. I have 2 and took a good 2 years sorting them out mostly from people thinking they know what they're doing but in reality just FUBAR the poor bike. But after some TLC I think they handle better and in a lot of cases faster than a CARC. Even despite lacking 100ccs. If you do get a molested one take the time to sort it. I'm sure you'll bond more with these than your Griso. Mostly from its lack of refinement compared to the Griso. Funny but true.

  10. I've got that on vinyl somewhere. I need to figure how Audisy works to put on digital......There's Johnny B Goode & Jack Flash on that record too. Any hints would be helpful. I've got the black box hookup.

  12. Ok so this is not a song, but the sound is pure hypnotic motorcycle bliss. Turn up the volume!

  13. "red dirt girl" would make us all cry, so I'll post this one. Actually, I've always been an indy 500 fan and like "Speedway at Nazareth" but every song is a jewel.

  14. Last night the Bev and I met with Guzzi John and Barb from Springfield MO in Tulsa to see Jeff Beck. Someday I'll write about Tulsa which in many ways was the Austin that never was. It seemed like everyone in the hotel was there to see Jeff Beck including folks there from Chicago to see Jeff after following him from Kansas City. The basic band is guitar, drums, bass and cello with two "guest singers". And I'll admit that was a surprise. The basic style is an ongoing guitar and drum solo that's perfectly timed and melodic. I'd call it heavy metal bebop but that would be wrong. Through the jam I recognised "Cause we ended as lovers", "Big Block", then the first singer came out playing Link Wray's "Rumble" and the next singer was Jimmy Hall doing "Superstition". The final song was the instrumental rendition of "A Day in the Life". See if you can guess the first singer, and I'll give the answer at the bottom. yes, that's Johnny Depp

  17. I am sure this is no surprise, I saw the Dead & Co last night in Dallas. They played Texas sentimentals like EL Paso, New Minglewood Blues, and Deep Ellum Blues. But then John just tore it up on Sugaree with wild blues and did it again with Jack Straw. After the break they did the best Shakedown Street I've ever heard and the rest of the show was total jam out with Uncle John, St Steven and 11. I haven't ordered the recording yet but I did get some photos from the camera I really hate (and sometimes like).

  18. I like the older Rush, but had not heard the song you posted - nice one! Here is Numb, by Gary Clark, Jr. - a recent favorite of mine. BTW - How do you embed the play window? edited after I figured out how to embed.
