  1. Here's a pic of mine taken a few years ago ... with Gustaffson tinted screen on the Magni (original was clear) and Mistrals fitted ... although I still have the stock cans, which although a little heavier do have a much deeper bass to them. Hard not to fall in love with a greenie methinks!

  2. Great news, I received my Led flasher relay today. Highly recommended! It was $11 and works great. It has a grounding wire that is needed but can be attached to battery or frame. It's a bit loud but you won't hear it over the motor. Works perfectly for my LED bar end signals! 3. Ooh, bright red valve covers. I feel a stirring. Must resist, must resist ...

  4. Installed a used set of hardcover bags I managed to find. The rack is the standard rack, but replicated in stainless as the original was corroding away. The bags are far from new but with a little anti-rain spray they'll do for that one motorbike trip a year I'll take on this (also have the Caponord with much more space).

  5. Hey Lucky Phil I've just signed up to the forum after reading your V11 Daytona project, very impressed, so apologies if I'm in the wrong area (still trying to work it out)! I have been restoring my Daytona RS for the last few years, which I purchased with my heart rather than my head. And paid the price ever since! I had to laugh reading your story because I have gone through a lot of the same issues that you have. Can I ask who you managed to find to clean the side flow injectors? After no luck finding anyone, I did the same as you and left the injectors in a bath of injector cleaner for about a month and pulsed them with a 9 volt battery. I eventually got them to work but I don't think the spray pattern is particularly good. The other thing I wanted to ask you was what paint have you used on the engine and gearbox? Thanks Mike

  6. Nice mate! I love LED lights, much less voltage needed with such greater output. I have a new 7" LED headlight with amazing Hi/LO output paired up with the bar end LED signals and a new DRC Flex-1 LED taillight!

  8. Yep symmetric when reflected accross one axis, but not superimposible . So yes heads or in this case foot pegs. Chirality of molecules was first found to be important with thalidamide. Really terrible story but guess who used to be a pharaemaseudical chemist? Yeah hardest job I've every had for the least pay.

  10. I use both brakes most of the time. Keeps the bike level and balanced to use both.

  11. How about that. Lovely photo though... I just sent the guy a text and asked to remove my picture from his ads.
