  1. Honestly, they look more like Wallaby chops, but that will be immediately denied. p.s. For a mere $250 those beauties can be yours!

  2. Let's get this out of the way, Greenie > the rest. The rest is just squabbling about the details. I've never heard about any engine differences. Certainly not enough to worry about. From a performance difference there nothing measurable.

  3. There is really nothing I like much better than a polished Italian single crankcase. Or two!

  4. I have a lot of springs. Payment and shipping details are back a few pages. I have a few boxes ready to ship as soon as I am allowed to leave my house - California is currently under stay-at-home orders to stop the spread of COVID-19.

  6. There will be a time when we all will look back on how this coronavirus pandemic has affected us all - some more so than others. This touching story about Giuseppe Berardelli and his sacrifice for another unknown younger man deserves a fitting tribute. He obviously loved his trusty red Galletto - wouldn’t it be wonderful for Moto Guzzi to aquire and display his pride & joy to their collection? A modern story for these times that will stand for decades to come as a tribute to the selfless priest and his greatest of all love. I sure would stop and ponder if I ever get to visit Mandello del Lario. https://www.google.com.au/amp/s/www.eternitynews.com.au/world/greater-love-72-year-old-priest-gives-up-his-respirator-to-a-younger-person-and-dies/amp/ Stay safe everyone.

  7. Well, the Americans have just about had it. They are demanding and end to this pandemic! OK...maybe not.

  8. Hey, Kelly, for sure The LuckyPhil-ChuckMade Extender, and grooming the external shift mechanism is worth performing. As is the RedLine (I prefer ShockProof Lightweight, but we all have our preferences). When removing the sideplate to install The Awesome Forever Shift Spring (accept no substitutes!), absolutely perform LuckyPhil's V11 Shift Improvement:

  9. Hey Docc, That's excellent, tks for jumping in, helps me plan my work a lot, knowing that if I change the shift spring and put in good Redline gear oil I won't have to dump it to do this job, Chuck if you happen to see this, definitely put me down for one. Tks Kelly

  10. Not to be answering for Chuck, but the shift extender is external. It's the zinc chromate (flat green) doober in this image as if you were the front of your rear tire looking forward to the left . .

  11. Oh, dear . . . all the gearhead forums have Tire Threads and Oil Threads, but here, and only here, can you find Greenie Strut Threads!

  12. the best of the best would be an early frame with the later frame supports and some kind of suspension (ok Ohlins) upgrade. Oh, ... and a zinc chromate primer fairing

  14. Now, Bob, being a diligent and dedicated Moderator, I surely would not let anyone else call you a "candy butt" . . . I had to look that material up. Here's a link : https://www.sunmatecushions.com/products/best-seller-sunmate-32x37-sheet

  16. I opened up a used seat I bought from MaxV11, removed the gel pad, and inserted two sheets of Sunmate medium firm and brought much comfort to my posterior. Cradles my candy butt wonderfully. Much better than my stock seat, comfort without slip sliding away.

  17. Who knew what was on his mind - but he was certainly aware that the respirator could be used to save another life. As we age, we get tired, and ready to move on from this life. As Saint Paul wrote in his Letter to the Philippians, he longed to leave this world and go to the Father, but he agreed to remain here if there was profitable work (i.e. evangelization) for him to do. And so it may be with Fr. Berardelli. Eternal rest grant him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful deputed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.

  20. Hi Steve, if not already sorted PM me. I still have the one you supplied to me so better it goes to someone who needs it rather than sitting in my 'just in case' box. We can sort out a replacement slow time.

  21. I am glad to see someone's fertile mind has come up with a way to to deal with the V11's weight. Unfortunately, they make it even heavier.
