I'll have to revisit this shot with my duke but with my guzzi. I liked it.. colours seem to match

For classic sport bikes and sport-touring bikes, Bridgestone has long offered the BT45 Battlax, a tire (tyre) which has always been highly rated. However, after almost two decades, Bridgestone has updated the tire with a new compound and slightly modified tread pattern. Rain performance is said to be substantially improved, while dry traction remains the same. Fairly obviously, the new offering is called the BT46. I see from their intro page that they do have excellent taste in classic sport bikes.

I was just thinking that is such overkill to get the cork out of that wine bottle . . .

I bought five Made in Corona adjustable two wire LED flashers and so far, so good. The problem is finding BAU15S LED bulbs which survive the V11's, um…heartbeat.

OP here... sorry to be so useless, the seller seems to be forward/honest, not your typical CL'er and genuinely love bikes, but not too schooled in all things Guzzi. The bike's cosmetics are a bit rough, but the price reflects that. For someone willing to devote the time and resources necessary it might not be a bad deal...... I can't speak for the authentically of the model (the valve covers are a possible issue) but the mileage is low, the price is reasonable and I would have nibbled more had I the resources and Guzzi connections here in SoCal. If you have a particular question that I could answer, please feel free to contact me. A side note... I'm not really "useless", my wife says I'm spectacular at holding up the wall while drinking beer,

Colder ... Warmer ... And we have a winner! It is indeed a specialized impact driver. Depending on which way the sliding hammer is rotated with respect to the Delrin buttons, the tool may be used to either tighten or loosen screws or bolts. The degree of rotation will vary how much force is delivered to seat the screw or bolt and how much is applied as a torque. Once loosened, a fastener could then be unscrewed with the T-handle wrench. It was made about fifty years by Joe Bolger of Barre, Mass. I think it was about $50, a fair piece of change back then. What a "serious" rider would have in his kit, along with his safety wire twisting tool.

After changing exhaust gaskets I used these (Docc) guidelines to retune my 03 V11. Old exhaust gasket leaks (at the front crossover) definitely contributed to my 3-4K rpm cough. After replacement it was better but had returned albeit a weaker "spit". After removing and cleaning the air bleed screws (very sooty) and rebalancing the throttle bodies and then a test run of 60km this morning .... at long last problem resolved. All in all I found it to be an amazingly simple fix. The bike has never run better (since I purchased 7 years ago). All smiles here (and I saved some bank $$$). Looks like someone "Lemansed" your Ballabio. Any chance you could post up a pic of the bike from the front or side? Am considering clipons and want to see how they "fit" the bike overall. ok.

looks like it is a little scratched on the left side. I'd be more worried about the graphics on the tank possibly having gas bubbles under.

Inappropriate? Probably. Accurate? Definitely.
