Very sweet. i‘ll add another example Of the same, as my current “collection” of 2 V11’s is because my first one i bought from a friend who figured he’d sell it because he wasn’t riding it much anymore, but fast forward a couple years and he nicely intoned that he’d like her back..... So i immediately went out and bought another one (somewhat by chance that i found the 2nd one so quick) so i wouldn’t be without one!

  3. Okay, seriously, yes: synch the throttle bodies "at some rpm." Doesn't have to be 3k, but definitely not at idle unless that is where you expect to operate the engine most of the time. I tried synching at 4,500 once and the Sport spit my (former) voltmeter off onto the floor . . .

  7. My grandfather and another friend I had at work that races a Ducati both only had sight in one eye so no depth perception either and I've always wondered how they rode or drove and got braking distances right etc. Ciao

  11. Nearly fifteen years and 118 pages, I am impressed by how many of the older images still display (many don't). Every now and then, I enjoy scrolling through and looking at some awesome images that have been shared on this thread. Like this contributor, Daniel Kalal, who hasn't been on here for over ten years, but this image (on page 2) is just very moving, IMO:

  12. So, the CO stays the same, just that the engine has to be operating temperature to change it using guzzidiag. A throttle body synch would likely works wonders. You could score TwinMax or equivalent in lieu of some kind of manometer or "carb sticks." I saw a pretty impressive improvement from "grooming" my exhaust and tightening up all those leaky joints. There were only a couple sooty ones and they weren't bad, so it surprised me when it made a noticeable difference. Seriously, though, buddy, gotta synch those throttle bodies!

  13. I've had minute intake and/or exhaust leaks do that to my Sport (among myriad other things). You didn't mention CO Fuel Trim setting or throttle body synchronization . . .

Pulled Goldie over to the rack yesterday to check out TPS, CO trim, and the do a double check on the TBS. i love a “smoking gun”... its rewarding, and found the CO trim at -40, and the TPS at somewhere around 182. Set now at zero and 157, respectively. TBS was still dead-on, but looking forward to the coming weeks sunshine to get her out and see how she runs!

  16. If its not causing an issue then dont worry about it. It's probably an isolated hole. Ducati just used to fill them with Araldite back in the 70's and it lasted for years although there's better stuff around now like JB and Devcon F if you feel the need. Ciao

  17. I'd give JB Weld a go. The tough part will be getting it clean enough for bonding. Trichloroethylene would do it..

  18. MGCN 2019 landmark rally. Pity from my site that I couldn’t ride al the landmarks. It’s was al over Europe. When you are at a landmark you had to make a picture whit that paper for proof that you actually been there. Verzonden vanaf mijn iPhone met Tapatalk

I have installed a gauge on a VII Sport, its tied in at the same point as the pressure switch and mounted on the steering damper bracket, yes the pressure is as you say/ I also have a gauge on my 72 Eldorado, it's tapped into the RH head oil feed and shows similar pressure when cold but drops down to 10 PSI at hot idle

  21. You use a manometer with mercury and you will see the mercury disappear at the first blip of the throttle ! P.S. any fluid will do the same thing .

  22. Maybe I can wheel it into the driveway and take a shot. I'm a bit over waiting for stuff to arrive from OS. Ordered 5 weeks ago and still no sign...sigh. Ciao
