  1. Here is my defective u-joint (at only 38.5000 Km): I have bought my new one here: https://hmb-guzzi.de/Universal-joint-complete-with-shaft-Cali-from-2001-on This is the original part from Elbe for a decent price.

  2. Yes, don't use Guzzidiag for setting the TPS, it isn't accurate enough for TPS setting, use a Multimeter. Follow the usual throttle linkage disconnect and throttle plate fully closed and held there to set the TPS. Ciao

  3. I see that you have already ordered the bearing set, but for anyone else thinking of checking their own RH side bearing, it is made up of standard parts that may be cheaper to buy from your local bearing shop. https://www.v11lemans.com/forums/index.php?/topic/19514-encyclopedia-of-compatible-parts/&do=findComment&comment=216691

  4. Awesome, looking forward to the bearing and shaft install... Not. I'll properly cool the shaft and heat the bearing a bit. How did you install it, any special tools or just align and push/hammer into place? Yes, your slideshow did help. It indeed was a nightmare and only want to celebrate if she runs properly in a few day (and I did not kink a fuel hose on installation). I did have to replace the special ribbed fuel hose with a normal one, as I pulled it apart on removing the fuel filter. This made installation in the tank even more difficult. MAN, I love working on my V11 compared to this one. So much more easy & accessible....

  6. Yep. It was impossible to find one in Sweden, so I had to get mine from Germany. I had four to choose from at the time. EDIT: One more popped up for sale in Hamburg this week, but the seller didn't show the number.

  7. Did someone say they didn't like bar end mirrors? They give the absolute best view behind you but they do add to the width.

  10. OEM Part Name: Bevel Box Needle Roller Bearing (RH side) Moto Guzzi Part Number: 92252225 Needle Bearing/Outer Race, & 92259025 Inner Race. Replacement Part Brand or Source: Any Bearing Retailer, but in NZ: SAECO Wilson were great. Part number: HK2516.2RS Needle Bearing, LRTZ202518 Inner Race 20x25x18. Differences from OEM: No hole in inner race. This is a good thing. Comments: You can't knock the old outer race out from the other side of the bevel box. If heat, rapid freeze, and slide hammer don't get it, then thin-walling with a dremel is your only option. When installing the outer race, the end with writing should face outwards, as it is usually designed to withstand installation press loads better than the unmarked end. After installation, packing it with waterproof wheel bearing grease before fitting the axle should help it last, as rust seems to be the main reason for failure.
