  5. The problem with the RecIgnition is that there was insufficient interest for me to maintain any currency in it. That makes it hard to ship anything with confidence. I'd only just moved to the MkII board also but only sorted the digitial input version. I still have some parts and if someone comes across hard times trying to get their bike running I'll try and accomodate them.

  6. Simple to do . Connect between A / C ( outer ) terminals of the connector . You will be using a DVOM so it doesn't matter about polarity .

  7. Hi, setting the TPS to it's proper start position (which is 157mV with all connections removed) can only be done with a physical adjustment and a voltmeter - not Guzzidiag or any other software. Cheers Meinolf

  9. Thanks Docc. This is now my fav pic of the bike. As always there is a little evolution with a build and some changes on things that didnt quite work as intended. The seat was one of those things. originally I told my seat guy, I wanted to cover the seat shape I had created with some nice leather. I had used a foam which he said was not up to it, so i said replace it and use good foam and make the shape back with the new foam. Well it was totally different shape and the leather colour didnt quite work. About a year ago I redid the seat using another seat guy and I think it works better now in comfort and looks. I've changed a number of bits now and its almost finished Essentially though I just wanted to show off and accentuate the motor and tank and shorten the tail. I actually like the original tail a lot, probably my fav looking cafe tail but its big and too big for what i wanted.

  10. I like the Guzzi with the exception of the tail and seat. A bridge too far for my tastes. The exhaust looks very nice on that style of bike as well. I'd be tempted to get his exhaust guy to make some mufflers for mine based on those but modified somewhat to suit the V11 lines a little better if I lived in Brisbane. Ciao

  11. All good we can have different ideas:) I'm just getting old I guess. One of my friends that updates his bike regularly measures his age by whether or not hes got "one more sports bike in me":) Ciao

  12. Yes I like the Panigale as well both the V2 and V4. Those bikes are in reality just too much for the road though. I stopped riding my 1198 on the road about 6 years ago for the same reason. 180 horsepower is just unusable on a road bike these days. I dont object to making and selling them I just dont need one anymore. Maturity and common sense I hate to say has kicked in. Ciao

  14. I had a look for your original thread on the idea and mfg of the very first one Phil. Would have posted the link if I'd found it, to show the thought process behind it as well as a guide for those who missed out on one this time and may want to make their own. Thanks for coming up with the idea and sharing.

  15. Næh, just keep it as CLEAN, will last another 100k's, AND looks special. Thanks to, to the brain who had the thoughts to figure it out ( Phil ). It really makes a big difference in shifting, period. Last IPA. Cheers tom.

  16. I'm glad you laid out the process Chuck. I dont think people in these days of on line ordering and a few days later something appears in the mail box appreciate the process from drawing board to finished product. Not aimed at anyone here, thinking more of my kids and others in the general public without any technical knowledge, that cant understand why something either takes time or costs money or often both. Ciao

  17. I spend a few mins with 320 grit wet n dry to get them clean, then 1200 grit to finish. Don’t know whether that’s an acceptable way to do it, but it works alright.
