Taking a tip from 4corsa’s earlier post, I put a set of TechSpec tank grips on the Greenie today. As pointed out by Phil in that earlier post, an opaque tank protector will show uneven paint fade over time when removed, but these sound like they work well and I’m curious to try. I’m not sure how I feel about the center piece. I may take that piece off and replace with clear. Anyway, here is what a Greenie looks like with slabs of rubber of her tank:

Looks great, and anxious to hear how you like the grip and control after you've put in some spirited riding miles with them.

Nice to see I'm not the only bugger falling apart. 🤣 With the V11s that works wonders is customizing the seat. Stock seat. Narrowing the front part of the saddle where the bottom of your thighs hit does help with your hips. I did it to both my seats. They just take a little off. Plushing the rear suspension just a little helps too and for me hasn't affected handling. A proper tune? It took me years to tune my Lemans to make it an all day rider. It can be done.

There are two. (1) Slim (2) None. Pick one. Seriously, I had to work this last batch in on a weekend when I could get into the mill. There hasn't been a day since, and I don't expect one in the foreseeable future. Austin is covered up with.. cough cough.. work. I can't even get my G5 shifter repaired. And.. I'm making airplane wings right now to keep from worrying about what is going on in the world.. As usual, though.. if 10 show up, I'll make time. Eventually.

$400 Shipped CONUS. I'll put them on eBay soon if nobody here wants them. I'm done with loud pipes, so I went back to the factory units a few years ago. They do sound amazing! Good overall condition, no road rash at all. They could use some good polishing to look great again. They are the stainless steel round version. Pics are too large to post here, so pm me for pics. Ken
