Problem solved! After having issues and replacing the starter, added a new battery, cleaned all the ground terminals, added 5 new 5 pin OMRON relays (courtesy of the very fine Doc), the final fix that resolved my starter woes was adding a new relay. (Not OMRON, LOL) Roy offers a very simple drawing on how to add this relay. And it really only took about 25 minutes. Thanks to everyone offering their input!2 points

Powder coated green stuff today. [img]https://static.imgzeit.com/reduced/47b19aff4aa81110/IMG_20201001_141829044.jpg[/img] I coated a couple more in the next batch, so I'll have Lucky Phil Greenie Shifter Extenders (tm) in stock. Flat black tomorrow with any luck at all. Once the quality control lady gives her ok, we'll package and ship probably early next week.1 point

Lord Tundering Jesus, my bike now starts like a normal persons bike. I really can’t beleive it. Thanks Doc, thank you Roy, very well done! The only thing next for my bike to do is burn to the ground but I double checked and my bike is properly grounded at the back of the gearbox and not the rear seat lock!1 point

Photographers posted along the "Dragon's Tail" route did a great job of catching all the bikes as they went by. This is the first picture in over 50 years of riding of me actually underway on one of my beloved Moto Guzzi's. Can't wait until next years Spine Raid.1 point

My pork chops look like a 10 yr old with a chipping hammer had an afternoon to play with them . Perfection ? You drag a tool box drawer across a four coat of clear on a CF front fender . I went from Klingon to Ghandi in a few minutes . I realized there are worse things in life than scratches .1 point
