Docc, I have the same stripped sump bolt issue, and have the helicoil kit I purchased/used for another bike. STI Bottoming tap and installation tool included. Not included is 1/4” drill bit needed. I can send to you if you will return it to me before I need to change the oil filter in the springtime. No hurry, I need to acquire the courage and a right angle drill before I start this repair. Normally, when we are out over Xmas, you can't get much higher than Newcomb's. That's why I stay in the SMMs. Certainly, one of my most epic rides was when Guzzi Bob, two other old farts and I lit up the crest from the bottom to the top. Perfect day, and unforgettable...1 point

This is normally the time I start to think about going out to SoCal for 1000 miles or so of canyon riding. Not this year..1 point

I have been researching R230's for a few years. Almost had a pristine 10k mile SL55 in my grasp but it had too many issues so I let it go. Ended up with a real nice 09 SL550 instead in retina melting Mars Red :-).
