  2. I am 51 years old and reside in Redmond, WA - Been fortunate enough to live and work in many countries. I have been involved with motorcycle (and cars for that matter) since the age of reason! More than anything I consider myself a student of motorcycle design and its intricate inner workings (some would say a mechanic). I have built, raced and cared for many motorcycles over the years - some more fun than others and some more memorable than others. My first bike was an 1980 Suzuki A100 built into a 125cc road racer. This was my first rotary valve two stroke engine. My first full on restoration was when I was 16 and it was a 1959 Gilera B300 twin - this is one of the most memorable ones. I few years ago, I decided to parts ways with the corporate world and decided to open a motorcycle shop - after all, I had to do something with the almost 50 motorcycles I had accumulated through the years of frustrating corporate work. I don't have that many anymore, but I still have too many, which makes it extremely ironic that I signed up to the forum with the sole purpose of researching whether to get a 1100 Sport or a V11 Lemans. Here is a list of memorable bikes I have owned throughout the last 30 odd years: 1959 Gilera B300 Bicilindrica 1960 Gilera B300 Extra Bicilindrica 1999 Laverda 750 S Formula 1973 Moto Guzzi Eldorado 1968 Benelli 250 Racer (fully built by me) 2000 Ducati 750SS (half fairing) 1999 MuZ Skorpion 660 1962 Matchless G12 1978 Yamaha XS650 (first full custom hard tail I ever built) 1992 NSR250R SP Suzuki A100 Racer (don't know the year - already a race bike when I bought it) 1975 Suzuki T500 1988 Honda NT650 Hawk (I've owned 4 of them) 1987 Honda VFR750 There are many more, but I want to keep this short and only as an introduction. Anyway, happy to be here and I look forward to meeting some of you... Cheers!

I'll make this one much shorter===98 EV seems I can't adjust tps to 157mv I only get 133 + run out of space. If I remove one holding screw from the tps I can squeek a little more assuming I settle on 133 I can only get about 330mv to set the throttle stop I should have 378mv here. Please take me by the hand + take me through this====I onl;y bite GUZZI'S nothing else, unlike my dog, thats a story for some other time!!! 8. Welcome, and looking at your list I'll bet you would rather have an 1100 sport. They are more "mechanical." Nothing subtle about them. My Kid has a carb Spot and says it's the best credit card sport touring bike ever. The V11 Sports are definitely more refined, and the last of the *real* Guzzis. Both are kool..

  9. Welcome! The 'main' difference to consider is '99 - '01 or '02 - '05 The later frames are a tad longer and a few model 'upgrades' occurred during this time.

  10. Something about the scale of the cylinders/headers relative to the exhaust pipes/canisters makes me think PhotoShop . . . .

  11. That’s fine, docc. Thanks as always for your steadfast attention to this well sorted forum!

  12. The set shown is for just the front, so yes, but they are the mirror & signal combined setup. Very true that a very acceptable upgrade can be done for way cheaper, so that’s certainly part of the consideration. I’ve used the relatively common wedge shaped LED’s on multiple other bikes, purchased off Amazon or some other source for cheap (I think i still have another set in the shop somewhere), with wiring and other parts obtained separately, and those all turned out great for a fraction of the cost. But not quite as nice, and to Footgooses point, the correct resistor setup doesn’t seem as straightforward on the V11. That said, maybe this “plug and play” option from moto science, with the correct resistors, isn’t as sorted as they imply.

  13. Docc.I've tried that + it doesn't work. I'm thinking I'm rotating the tps too much at a time.I've had it set several times before but not this time. The tps should not be rotated to the max(I belive). Lucky Phil,I'll get back to you in a couple hours gstallons----- you hit the nail on

  14. Cleaned up nicely! I love old wood, so would be trying to preserve some panels, beams or structural members. Makes such a great backdrop for the photo shoots. (I also get the "brighten it up" thing . . . . so maybe just keep the wood up front toward the doors?) She looks quite happy in her new digs!

  15. I found the points you made about navigation, and Sat-Nav in particular, poignantly on the mark. I would like to quote some of your remarks in this thread to carry on the discussion in this more general "Navigation" thread. I did not want to lead your more specific BeeLine thread too far off topic.
