  1. Recently my town has started a Bike Night, last Tuesday of the month. They've been doing a lot of renovation and turning the downtown into entrainment destination. I'll provide a link to it but to get the shorthand, my bike is the icon bike for the event. (I couldn't get the photo image to post) https://www.edmondbikenight.com/

  3. So I have been waiting and this is the perfect year, Italian bikes will be featured and lo and behold by Greenie is vintage eligible. The OVM has a 20 year old rule! It's going to freak out some of the old guys to see such a modern looking bike. It will be worth the $20. Stay tuned for more news. My friend George is building the Ducati on the poster (yeah, he made the poster so he gets to pick the bike on the poster too...) and it looks spectacular. Normally there aren't a lot of Italian bikes so hopefully a few turn up. Here's a video from the last time I went. Of course I couldn't show the bike then. But now I can!

  4. Water? It could well have been intended for use as a beer pump. As to Hondas, here is the nicest CX cafe I have seen. 53 Motorcycles in the UK.

  5. The more I see of these iconic old models the more classical the V11 seems. It’s certainly as visceral to ride as my old triumphs and 850t were, so the modern amenities have not taken away from the classical “real motorcycle” feel of the machine. Thanks for the good brakes, though!

  6. Truly! Actually, Marabese was quoted by Anima Guzzista saying, "I started to draw . . . the V11 from Gambalunghino . . ." Knowing this makes the entire V11 design come together as cohesive and magnificently well executed:

  7. Kane, hardly Sturgis, at least we hope not. We're just a suburb of OKC that's transitioned from a farm, oil and rail town. But some of the restaurants and perhaps brew pubs wouldn't be out of place in LA as well as our "medical" shops.

  8. Finished the Mistral headers and crossovers install (already had the carbon slip-ons). Was a bit more involved than expected, but not too bad. Had to destroy the stock headers to remove the flanges [emoji3525], so one less OEM part available for those in need. But I have the stock cross-overs if anyone is interested. I was surprised with how much it changed the sound. Sounded good before, but magnificent now! [emoji854] Sent from my Pixel 4a using Tapatalk

  10. I used Hylomar on the gaskets when changing the oil/filter on my black frame . Sparingly is the key on anything you put on a gasket . The Permatex anaerobic gasket sealant is a good product too . There are lots of good products , you just have to know the application . You know when you have used the correct amount when it just oozes out of the mating surfaces . i have seen rednecks use a whole tube of silicone seal on a timing cover / water pump job ! I will NEVER use silicone after having to GO BACK through a 1.8l Ford Escort engine after the oil pump / block gasket oozed out and started leaking engine oil . This was a good twenty five years ago and I still have the taste in my mouth !

  11. @Tinus89 @knumbnutz it was the very first thing I looked at. The symptoms are exactly what you'd expect from a poor contact on the switch. I actually removed it and bridged the wires. Have been running like that for about a year but I put it back in the system a few weeks ago.
