  1. This Sport officially made 200.000 km today. In fine form. I pulled over to record the moment. The most poignant feature in the image? The road ahead!

  3. Hibernation is approaching for me as well. Once November arrives and the gritters start salting the roads, that’s it for me until March, unless we have a mild spell when the roads are free of salt. Oh to live in a warmer climate…….I was originally intending to go out for a ride today, but it rained most of the day, & apart from moving a bike in and out of the garage, I didn’t venture anywhere

  4. Top is rebound bottom is compression. Guzzi manuals are riddled with mistakes some of which are translation related and some because they obviously get the girl in the office fresh out of he Literature degree to create them. "Hey, isa justa words and pictures for the anglo's" Ciao

  5. After riding my Sport today about 36 miles/58 km, I found the 4 year old OMRON G8HE in the #5 Ignition/injector position 155ºF/68ºC. Installed the CI,T then another 36 miles and the CTI was 159ºF/71ºC. The IR reader is only accurate to +/- 4ºF/6.5ºC, so the two relays are essentially the same with regard to heat. Both are hotter than I expected based upon previous reports in the Hot Relay thread. Not sure if any of that is helpful, really. I think it is encouraging the new CIT was not significantly different than the OMRON. I'll leave it in the FI/Ignition position and keep an eye on it.

  6. A Guzzi (and non Guzzi) ride out last Sunday. My silver V11 next to the Cali. The days are getting shorter, and fall is starting

  7. Thanks, I thought the Ohlins documentation was more likely to be correct but I thought someone would know for sure. Just worth checking before I start "fiddling" with the settings.

  8. I have never touched one of these quick-disconnects on a 04 model . I have seen a lot of connectors on other stuff destroyed by Cavemen to Klingons . I know one thing , once you get pissed off , caution and care go out the window ! I have a tool box drawer full of devices to get these "things" disconnected and the technique is NEVER quite the same , go figure ?

  9. Consider it done! Glorious 133 mile day on hilly backroads, almost no traffic (I did pass that one Porsche. Because I could.) Perfectly clear, dry 60ºF/ 16ºC. Not the greatest view, but gives an idea of the roads here. This is the point that mySport posted an honest 200,000 kilometers. And ran sooooo great all day!

  11. One on eBay for about 250US or so. Couple of scratches as I recall. Think it's from a Ballabio. but, there's that whole border thing. Getting out of Canada? I was just thinking of going there! Oh, wait...

  12. Seems that a V10 RedFrame should have a 9" rear. Oh, wait, that is something entirely different . . .

  13. It's about the "look" docc. That's the real reason mine has one. Ciao

  14. I have received my OMRON G8HEs yesterday Oct 12, 2021. Kudos to the eBay seller, the packaging was outstanding and the Relays appear to be new. He has three more left, if anybody is interested; here's the link: 10.89 per relay, and 4.90 USD for the shipping.

  15. Make no mistake, the "RedFrame" V11 Sport was/is a real "sporting" Guzzi. So-much-so, that Moto Guzzi very quickly lengthened and braced the frame, offered a fairing, with a wider rear rim/bigger tire, changed the forks, and offered "handlebars" (over the clip-ons). We > RedFrameTrash < are just lucky to land here and soak up the love.
