G'day
I have a Hyperpro 460 shock on mine ( would assume same length as std ?) and also have forks up through the triples by 8mm and happy with it too!
As for the hairy handling on bumpy roads, I think this may be due to holes in compression side fork leg and oil blowing through them instead of the valving as per previous threads.
This can then lead to a hydraulic lock and strong rebound which can be interesting in the right environment to say the least.
Since I had the new shock and mods to forks ( but not blocking the holes ) it's been a LOT better than before and we have some roads here that could double as MX tracks! I can still feel it on big hits but a lot less than before due to good suspension technician.
I mean to have these holes blocked and forks re-valved again + change progressive springs to straight weight when I have the suspension serviced soon and would think that this wee aberration will be gone for good.
Cheers Guzzler
On the rear stand (bike level) there's no leak, it only leaks when on the side stand but seems to be leaking out from the bottom of the assembly towards the inside (not out the right side). I'll replace both the seal and o-ring and go from there. Thanks docc.
If any of you were interested by the 120th anniversary of the Royal Enfield bike, the registration are opened to try to get one on December 7th.

@docc Not this one...
The best of the show are the "AGO" serie; only 311 made based on the 311 victories of the legend, the first 15 having a specific dedication to one of the 15 titles Mino won.
Already sold out, as you can imagine.
They aren't as nice in the flesh docc. One of those bikes that looks better in images than in real life. Looks a bit "weird" in the showroom. The headlight and front fairing style will be a transient thing I think. Triumph have copied it I see.
Ciao
The second to last bike, the "V7 Fast Endurance" seems like another step towards re-introducing the LeMans badge. It's got Ohlins twin shocks, and the fairing seems inspired by LeMans 1 with the orange accent.
But it also has those ugly number plates on both sides of the tail like the V7 Racer.
Thanks, my man! True to the neo-retro design, when new they were accused of being out of place, under-powered, over-priced, and equipped with obsolete cycle parts.
What a delight she is, though! (Both to ride and behold.)
And what is the currently available equivalent?
Ha I'll show my teenage kids this:) I seriously lack any real artistic creativity in any form though, it's an engineers mind minus the creativity.
Oh I have others. The Dale Earnhardt NASCAR Chev and the Ford Mustang engine are both 1/4 scale full metal diecast and too heavy for most shelves and the Ferrari V12 is 1/6 scale. My wife forgives me my lunacy.
