For my son Landon. I know the gasoline ICE purist will not like the fact that its an electric bike, but that's the world young Landon grew up into. The EFTR Jr is a replica of the FTR Carbon, capable of 7mph in low and 15 mph in high settings. It has front and rear brakes with rear adjustable suspension. Learning battery charging management will probably do him well in his lifetime. My first bike was a smoking(literally) Italian made 50cc two stroke, Indian badged import from the 70's, I loved that bike and its still in my parents garage today.6 points

We need to surreptitiously slip into some tech company and get them to cobble together the Moto Guzzi V11 Hydrogen fuel cell conversion kit, but, of course still keep relays and fuses for the nostalgia....4 points

What happened to radio ? When I was in my teens , 100.7 out of Cape Girardeau played the most progressive , heavy metal and greatest R&R I had ever heard . The DJ was "The Nighthog" and every night the station would sign off with Nights in White Satin . Then in the early 90s I stumbled across this station that played In The Air Tonight 24 hrs a day for what seemed like 3 days straight , the it CAME ON . These guys played Robert Cray , Melissa Ethridge and others I NEVER heard of . Those were the days !3 points

Joe I love it. It's a beautiful looking little bike with nice classic flat tracker lines, I think it looks the biz! At that age fun is the priority, plug it in, twist the throttle, instant smile generator, win, win, win. He'll have plenty of time and opportunity later if he chooses, to jump into the ICE game and worry about oil, spark plug changes, getting a part time job to pay for gas, repairs and tuneups; and deal with the inevitable occasional times the smile generator won't start and have to tackle the black magic voo doo of lack of spark, fuel etc, I think it's cool that you still have your rebadged Indian from back in the day.3 points

Doesn't this represent child abuse of some sort? I mean an EV first bike, are you trying to turn him off motorcycling or something? What next, a Fender Stratocaster with rubber strings to protect your hearing. What's the world coming to. Ciao3 points

Although I pined for one in the worst way, I didn't have enough spare cash for a Mattel V-RROOM! ; but I grew up in small town Quebec, so cardboard from cigarette packages were free and plentiful, that and a couple of clothespins mounted on the forks, my Supercycle bike usually had it's own very distinct growl, lol. What I did have, that I loved so much, I wore one out and had to replace it, was a chain/lever/tire friction activated siren mounted on the forks as well. The growl of a cigarette pack and the wail of my siren, pretty intoxicating heady stuff for a young kid; not so sure the neighbors were impressed though.2 points

I'll make a few calls this week and see if I can get a quote. I can provide a fabricator with a hump . I assume, between those who've already expressed interest and a few more Guzzisiti, I could get six and maybe ten, bringing cost per item down somewhat from a one off. Cheers.1 point

In honor of St. Patrick's Day, I took out the Green Goose today! Rode into Amish country, avoiding horse puckey on the road, took a mountain (well, what passes for a mountain in central PA) pass (lots of gravel and salt -- I almost walked around the 10mph hairpin switchbacks), and got back into town following a magnificent sunset. Stupidly, I didn't think to get a pic until too late, but I snapped this image after before it was lost completely: Look at that!!! Where is the "jaw on the floor" emoji? What a beautiful piece of machine art. You can walk around these V11 for hours trying to find the best angle to look at them from. And riding it is just as special. I can't make claim to being a great rider, I don't have any idea how to dial-in suspension settings, and I've haven't ridden scores of bikes for comparison purposes. What I do know is that the grin on the face sets in just after rolling out of the driveway. Literally. One moment it's a hooligan; another (around the ton) it's stirring milk tea. Pretty great combination, that. Cheers, Frey1 point

And one of my all time favorites: Playmate Tanya Dexters at the early 2003 Brussels Salon on the 2003 V11 Playboy EE (Exclusive Edition). Is this really the only known image from that photo shoot?1 point

I am counting on @p6x to flood this thread with images to bury this last post. I'm getting burned out having my photographic memory erased after this sort of thing . . .1 point
