Lots of local wildflowers now blooming here in Texas. Location on FM362 between FM1488 and 105… Today’s run was a 160 mile loop with a friend on a Stelvio and his family in the Boxster with a stop at the local tavern…and something I have never seen…a 4 month old Joey (kangaroo) hopping around near the bikes. No V11 content due to awaiting a few parts to be installed tonight in my complete tank off maintenance process. Tomorrow off to collect a few stops on the Grand Tour of Texas…3 points

Just turned 125,000 miles/ 201.000 km warming the oil for a change and tune-up. I don’t recall mySport ever running this great at tune-up time. No signs of fuel pump issues. Thinking back to the incident, it was a restart after sitting for a few minutes. Kind of classic “vapor lock” behavior ( never had this before). So, on to the tune-up. Tank off another time. Thanks for the replies and confirmation on this fuel pump!3 points

As hard as this is to believe it was actually at the Tavern stop!! Disclaimer…I don’t drink while riding but at first glance I thought someone had spiked my Arnold Palmer!1 point

G'day That's much better mate...! I had the same issue with mine when I first got the bike and it really annoyed me. It just made the whole bike look a bit rough. Cheers Guzzler1 point

K, fixed the problematic Panopticon photo failure and deleted the posts. For your viewing pleasure. I wasn't going to inspect the rear gears, but the little voice said 'Dooo Eeeeet'. So I do it.I've looked as closely as possible through the fill hole in the past, and didn't really like the surface finish I saw on the ring gear. No idea what was in it when I got it, probably the factory lube. I've always run RedLine shockproof in this one, and surprisingly I think the surface finish is better now than it was before. For this reassembly, I'll be using Liqui-Moly because I can't get Chevron Delo ESI. L-M also has borate additives, so should be as good. Ah yes, we'll be having the transmission out as well, due to enormous end play in the output shaft. I have a helical gearbox on the bench nearly ready I meant to swap in a long time ago, I guess I know my next move.1 point

I hope the V11 does not succumb to "skin suffocation" . . .1 point

The correct answer here is that the washer behind the bearing race has room to push the race out enough to catch the inside edge with a driver, and carefully drive it out from the inside. Use a soft punch or brass drift to move the (hopefully hardened) washer towards the outside, then move the washer aside to have just enough race to catch with a drift, which needs a good edge. Easy peasy. A proper blind puller on a slide hammer would make short work of it. Wish I'd known before I added some dimples to the outside race edge of the housing.1 point

We had a southern jet stream driven heat wave role into the Bluegrass country, temps got up to 77 by afternoon. Took the opportunity to pick up my bike and air out any carbon buildup. About halfway home noticed the rear brake was sticking, heated up the rear disc. So we pulled over and pried open the pads with a pocket knife, looks like a rear master cylinder rebuild kit and brake pads are the next items on the parts list. It was a nice ride on curvy roads, bike ran brilliantly besides the brake hiccup.1 point
