  1. Hello! Only this season I put this mod. I am delighted! Such clear shifting! And using the quickshifter has become much more comfortable.

  6. Yeah, you've gotta love this forum. It is *the* knowledge base for the V11S. Thanks, Jaap, and Docc..

  8. Two stops accomplished today; #7 and #41 Creedmore and Cuero Tx. Temperature around 96 degF! about 400 miles today. I got lost and went to Austin before turning back on I-35. My total is 9/50. @docc For some reason, Ethanol Free gas at Buc-ee's Bastrop is 90 Octanes... The 48.8 mpg is done keeping under 4000 rpm. The 37.7 mpg was strictly 4500/5000 rpm. There is a big difference as soon as you go above 4k rpm.

  9. I’ve taken the body work off, I’ve taken the body work off, had it resprayed & clear coated, plus sourced a new Le Mans logo, but that was a gloss finish, a professional paint shop should be able to handle refinishing the matte finish That’s one heck of a steamer trunk, should be good for at least a 2 week Caribbean cruise

  10. Through out the years of my transactions I have found one thing that usually takes care of a lot of anxieties on both sides of the table........... Its called facetime where I am and while your verifying the individual you can steer that lens anywhere its needed. Anyone that has issues with that you always have the option of moving on to the next adventure. Works for me. Ciao

  11. I, and the Mighty Scura were on "The Snake" in the Santa Monica mountains, when I saw a bike behind me in my mirrors. I'm not a "A" rider, but can keep up with the "B" riders easily.. so it was an unusual occurrence. Naturally, I waved him by, and he disappeared in three corners. I thought, "What the hell was that??" He stopped at the Rock Store, and we had the place to ourselves midweek. Sat on the steps and shot the shit for a while. He was a magazine tester on a new Tuono, and said it was insane. I believed him.. I've never seen a bike accelerate out of a corner like that..

  13. https://www.cycletrader.com/listing/2021-Aprilia-TUONO+V4+1100-5018414890 Why would you replace the tires after 853 miles? the only reason that comes to mind is that bike was used on track.

  14. I narrowed the search for the Nero Corsa as much as CycleTrader would allow and still had to scroll six pages of ads to find it. The direct link that Twin AH posted three or four posts back is still valid. I think the image he posted of the nice Legnano Green Sport is a test post of his own V11 using "Copy Image Link." Pretty sure this one is Not For Sale . . .

  15. Hey Leroy…likewise! Adam was a gentleman….a nice break to chat!! Always a fun gathering in Cedar Vale…that may have been my twin in Coffeeville…I saw the storms brewing in Rogers, Arkansas and decided to head south a little before that! Made it across the Red River for the evening, more adventuring tomorrow before heading home!

  16. Yup, that's ma boy Adam. Hope he didn't talk your ear off for an hour during your stop. It was great chatting with you at CV, passing each other by in Coffeyville, KS (that was you, right?) on the way home. I'll PM you cell/email for that selfie you took.

  17. Wow Enea Bastianini!!! 3 out 7! would it be the first time a satellite team wins a world championship? Francesco Bagnaia lost it, and could not accept Bastianini was simply faster today. I also very happy for Aleix Espargaro and Aprilia to finish 3rd. And kudos to the French crowd for the celebration given to these three guys and all the riders! Jack Miller clowned it too to thank them!

  18. Picked my Rosso Corsa up from Twiggers in Loughborough today, following throttle body balance & fixing a slow puncture that was due to a leaky valve. Great ride back home, with the bike more responsive than ever

  20. Let's parse his verbiage. "Sell some (plural) V11 rack (singular). Sell some rack. And note the space before "V11" A cut and paste with the want ad item filled in. Hmmm. I am on a couple of firearm forums. There have been chronic shortages and scalping on ammunition for the past two years. Literally hundreds of scam websites have popped up and are popping up as we speak. Amazing prices, all in stock, and no limits! They offer a 15% discount for bitcoin. Imagine that! But wait, there's more! Don't have bitcoin? Click their handy "Buy Bitcoin" button and buy the bitcoin to get your 15% discount! Redefining brazen. Due diligence is overdue.

  21. I'm about ready to burn this LeMans Finally got it sorted I thought. Stopped for fuel yesterday filled up. Put up kickstand to start and no turn over. Put down kickstand fired right up. Go out today put up kickstand fires right up. After the ride I switched off and tried to restart put kickstand up, tried to start and no action. Pressed clutch in no action. Put kickstand down no start. Pressed clutch in no start. Good grief.
