  2. UHMW polyethylene bushings. I melted the sleeves out of the old rubber bushes and pressed them into the new bushes.

  3. Collected the silver V11 from Twiggers in Loughborough today, new Diablo Rosso II rear tyre & throttle bodies balanced. It’s a national holiday here today in the UK, so spent part of the afternoon giving the Rosso Corsa & Silver Sport a good clean,

  4. I happen to like the Royal Enfield Interceptors but thought they were weak on power. The Big bore kit helps this out, & the parallel twin sounds righteous with open exhaust.

  10. There's more truth than humor, since the 90 V twin seems to be the starting point for many of these. And just look at most of the new parallel twins that are mimicking it. Of course Ducati has gotten more notice for the last 30+ years compared to Guzzi.

  12. I have seen so many screws and bolts damaged like the one in the picture. A lot of the equipment we used had mixed imperial / metric fasteners. With bad housekeeping, it is very easy to try to screw the wrong screw into the wrong hole. The worse being hose connections. NPT, BSP....

  13. Did you change the t/signals to the early Ducati Monster oval ones on your silver?? I put them on my silver 2000 a couple months back & love the new look.

  14. even though the Yamaha is an inline engine, it's a "big bang" engine with a crank like a V8 rather than an inline 4. The V4 engines have manufacturers' unique cranks and firing intervals. Rossi did the original testing of the M1 and was given several combinations of screamer and big bang engines. Now all the bikes run some type of odd firing big bang engine.

  16. I'm very envious of multilingual people but here's a tip if you're using foreign language forums. If you type SLOWER in upper case it usually makes things much clearer and understandable. Hope this helps. Ciao

  17. If you separate the two joints they must go back the same, I think you should find a paint mark to get the correct orientation.
