I didn't but my dad traded his 2018 Kawasaki Z900rs in on a 2022 MG V7 Special 850 at the KY Guzzi Rally. After riding it yesterday, I was surprised how civil the 850 "small block" ran. With little buzz and plenty of torque to make speed, I also like the blue color of this model. Dad is a spritely 78yr old, loves to ride when he can, this will be his first Guzzi.7 points

Bike came with Koni 230, but WAY to soft. Have had very good experiences with Wilbers on other bikes. Just had to run the oil varm and running carbs dry before hibernation today. Just 15miles, felt soo m better. Nkr 12879. Price is around the same all over I think. I can't order from Germany, just local dealer here in Norway. It's amasing what good suspension will do for your bike. Cheers Tom.3 points

I have Wilburs on my 2010 V7, came with the bike. When I first got the bike, I set the sag and was amazed at how adjustable these shocks are, very sensitive. I've been happy with them. My forks have been rebuilt with Traxxion Dynamics, AK.3 points

the pics don't load but I recall (if you are referring to your new bike) they looked like docc's cans. They be either Mistral or Agostini imo. If they had oval stickers it would likely be Mistral.2 points

For my son Landon. I know the gasoline ICE purist will not like the fact that its an electric bike, but that's the world young Landon grew up into. The EFTR Jr is a replica of the FTR Carbon, capable of 7mph in low and 15 mph in high settings. It has front and rear brakes with rear adjustable suspension. Learning battery charging management will probably do him well in his lifetime. My first bike was a smoking(literally) Italian made 50cc two stroke, Indian badged import from the 70's, I loved that bike and its still in my parents garage today.1 point

Lots of us actually prefer the mellow bellow from the LaFranconi. It's a sweet sound. And the extra ten pounds? I weighed that leaving The Gondola on the South'n SpineRaid after that lasagna . . . Others even had "birthday cake" . . .1 point

I was going to add earlier to check the Voltage on the black wire which I believe is the reference but didn't as @farfons stated he ran that wire to the battery and there was no change, the same with the earth but again he did that as well. In my experience on my Sporti that double "jack" plug comes apart easily, for now they're held together with a cable tie, but I'm going to cut them both off and replace it with something more secure. The reference itself is measured in a crap place passing through a fuse and 2 relays (starter & headlamp) in the Sport, not to mention the wire running the length of the bike, so corroded or dirty contacts could cause the reference to "see" low volts and lead to overcharging. That said you've already eliminated these as potential problem by running wiring to the battery to test and found no difference, so you've reached my level of ignorance on the issue.1 point
