  1. https://www.douglasmacrae.com/bikes I came to know of Douglas Macrae while volunteering with the VRRA. He's expensive but he is the best. (He doesn't do just motorcycles, fyi) He's not only extremely talented in many areas, but extremely inspiring. He gave up racing a while back, when he was diagnosed with inoperable terminal brain cancer; but he still does the odd parade lap on some of Team Obselete's fine vintage racing machines. He's done some amazing photos of well known racer Dave Roper and others. If you desire a fine print of a vintage machine captured like a piece of art, go through his catalogue, I'm sure you'll find something you like. In the near future he's publishing a huge coffee table book, but I know he has an extensive catalogue and can do posters or prints as requested. Absolutely no pressure, but if you do happen to get one, please post a photo of it. tia good luck

  2. I'm looking for vintage (60s-70s) racing posters and V11 fine art photo pinups to decorate with. Like the low-res example. Sites like etsy are out. I refuse to join Ebay is also unsatisfactory. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions on where to look. Thanks in advance.

  5. Well if we're posting quotes, this one by Booker T Washington, recently became my favorite. A lie doesn't become truth, Wrong doesn't become right, And evil doesn't become good, Just because it's accepted by a majority.

  7. I'm posting this here only because the forum will show that I take PayPal for the Roper slosh plates. PayPal has changed their terms of service in a fashion I find unacceptable, so I've deleted my account and will no longer accept or make payments through them. Cancel Culture and Social Credit Scoring is very real. https://www.dailywire.com/news/new-paypal-policy-lets-company-pull-2500-from-users-accounts-if-they-promote-misinformation

  8. Found this on ebay. In NZ of all places. Bought it, 12x18, $30 shipped. I wish they sold a larger size I have a big wall Who else thinks these were prettier than the V11? Minus the colostomy bag.

  9. Very scarey times. I don't know how far it made it's way out in the world; but during our recent Freedom Convoy, a hacker working for the Gov't ,got a list of of all supporting donors to Give Send Go; There were literally single Mom minimum wage earners on that list, that had their bank accounts frozen, for donating $5. I didn't have my bank account frozen, but I was doxxed on a geo file, disseminated world wide to every anitifa wack job out there. Having witnessed just how tenuous my financial security really was, I attempted to find a major Canadian Bank that hadn't been infiltrated and influenced by Black Rock et all, impossible, they're all wearing the same team jerseys.

  11. Most of you probably follow the Redux thread, but I wanted to move the pertinent info to the top where it's not buried 7 pages deep. Pete Roper licensed sloppage trays for V11 broad-sump motors, US-made in 304 Stainless Steel .080" thick. Edit; Plates have been taken over by member ducatiguzziindian- see later pages for info. 16 Nov. '23

  12. Well, for what it's worth, check the indexing of the shift lever on the shaft coming out of the transmission. Mine was way off, causing the lever to hit the frame on downshifts. Once set up properly and adjusted for your preferences via the shaft between the transmission and the shifter lever, shifts like a dream, both up and down

  13. Given the price, effort and time of working with such a remote shop, perhaps you should consider swapping out for a known good transmission. It's a fair amount of work, but it would also allow you to inspect and/or service the clutch while you're at it. There are several topics here with photos of how people have removed the transmission by "crabbing" the frame.

  14. Thanks 80csx. Macrae does wonderful work. He's out of my league. A 24x36 print is in the $400 range. I would if I could And I saw no Guzzis in his catalog. If money were no object tho, the Lost Singapore Black Lightning would be on the way.
