  1. BTDT That's the late, great Dennis Kristof admiring -- as was quite appropriate -- my Griso. FWIW, the river was not narrow that day after some late spring rains. Bill

  2. Well, I still think we should loop out of The Lodge Saturday morning and take the bikes across the Cumberland River on the free ferry. Bring yer poles, but fish fast. The river is pretty narrow up there . . .

  3. I inspect the flywheel/clutch assembly of my Rosso Mandello last winter, no sign of cracks at all. Maybe the Rosso Mandello isnt affected with this issue? And how many of the Scura`s is affected? I also installed the new type of clutch plate, much smooter engaging, but some issues with the clutch dragging, now sorted out Jens

  4. A nice day of riding both the V11 and the 2V Norge...perfect weather to ride, nice and cool. Nice to be able to toggle between the bikes...each a great riding experience.

  5. That setup was on my'03 when I bought it 11 years ago. PO had no accompanying paperwork so not sure of manufacturer. No markings that I have seen either. I ride with bars all way up to save my back, makes it good for longer distances and like you said doesn't affect the OEM fork length.

  8. I just looked, it was not in the package with the kit. BUT I have another clutch from an EV big twin minus the flywheel and there is a thrust cup with that. It fits the Centauro pressure plate so I would include that. So yes I have one that will work.

  12. Hey, @Tom in Virginia, Thanks for posting, I like your bar risers, they look like Convertibars. I presently have DAS Mototec risers on my red '03 Lemans that were installed by the original owner and I'm a little less than comfortable with them. Plus, the Mototecs required raising the forks 15-20mm higher into the clamps and it slightly countered the benefit of installing them. Whereas, the Convertibars mount underneath the top clamp so oem steering geometry can be maintained...imho. I think I could a lot more comfortable with the Convertibars so I was happy to see your post. The Convertibars website has installation instructions for their v11 risers but their sales page doesn't list them so I guess if I want a pair it might require further inquiry. I realize hose, cable & wiring mods or replacement might be required but don't see it as a big problem. Just glad to see those risers on a v11 Lemans before I go further. Art
