  1. Recently discovered this band. In the 90's, they completely got past me.

  2. The Märzen have given way to Oatmeal Stouts here as the weather here progresses. The Sport yet loves the crisp and colorful riding. Seems yesterday's 15ºC was precisely what she was tuned for back on the lake by the Alps . . .

  3. I've been working on this soul stirring tune for a while. The song actually starts around 1:30;but Zach Williams' heart felt message to the inmates,is pure gold.

  4. I "extracted" the starter circuit from the wiring diagramme, and have already posted it here a couple of times. Mine is a 2002 model. As far as I have been able to tell, the circuitry stayed pretty much the same from mine onwards.

  6. The most common failure of the Clutch Switch is in the "bullet connectors on the forward left side of the frame. Sometimes a "wiggle test" will reveal an intermittent connection failure there: With the bike in neutral, ignition and run switch on, hold the clutch lever in and hold the starter button down while slowly rotating the bars lock-to-lock. If the starter catches, clean-crimp-treat-seal the bullet connectors . . . Simplest way to test the relay is to insert a known good, 5-pin, high current relay in that position. This Picker Components relay has the highest 5th pin (NC) rating I've ever seen (25amps): https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/picker-components/PC782-1C-12S-R-X/12352866

  8. From minus 7 to minus 21.... Martin said his rear tire was the culprit. He was lapping 1 second slower than the front men. Curiously, Bagnaia had a similar issue during the Sprint race. Unless something drastic happens, Martin is out of the title chase in Valencia. How could tires be not uniform across the board? surely Michelin test each and every of them for defects before they are released.

  11. Aha! I recently solved a low battery voltage issue by cleaning and Deox-It-ing the multi-pin connector between the rectifier and the main wiring loom. It is rather exposed to weather (being about one foot below the clutch switch bullet connectors on the left side). It gets wet when washing the bike or riding in the rain, and the water sits and corrodes the contacts. So, off to the bullet connectors. NOTE: I had thought that clutch lever gunk had plugged the tiny, easily lost plastic cylinder which operates the clutch safety microswitch. After cleaning and testing, all was fine, but the problem persisted. So, bullet connectors and then the relay if needed. Got those in stock, fortunately.

  12. I don't play this tune anymore;but I used to love laying down a slow grindy version of this;while others who were gifted lead players, laid out different style lead breaks over top of my groove. It's a great jam tune to really get lost in;interesting,in that the chord progressions stay the same, but the melody lines change. Docc tks for the post & the trip down memory lane.

  16. Shell V power 98 octane E5, but Shell says no ethanol in it. St 1 is now taking over Shell stations, so hopefully 98 octane further. Esso has 98 octane. Circle K only shitty fuel. Been a lot of big complains from rescue companies, Red Cross, fire departments and so on, regarding Atv’s and other rescue vehicles sitting for a while, and will not work because of bad fuel. The whole world is suffering from the decision parrot morons, oh well Friday so IPA time here. . Cheers Tom.

  22. I normally only drink beer docc in the summer and quite often only buy any if we are having friends around or some sort of gathering. I then go and buy a slab because its cheaper and drink the left overs and not buy anymore. I generally buy Victoria Bitter which from memory is 5.5% alcohol. However I bought a 6 pack of Coopers "Ultra light" last year which is Under 0.5% and it very nice indeed. It's $7/ 6 pack and available at the local supermarket. That's around half the price of normal beer and it's drinking without guilt and without worrying about the booze bus. Very refreshing. I'm actually wanting to get pulled over so when the cop asks if i've been drinking and I reply yes and they then go on to ask how much I can say quite a lot actually. Of course my beer drinking friends and relatives give me shit about it but I dont care. Ciao
