  1. Well, reducing photo size is nearly as much fun as rebuilding gearboxes😂 Heres my baby, hope image quality hasn’t suffered too much!

  2. Trust me , there are NO unnecessary parts on a motorcycle . If M/G could have saved money and not included an oil cooler on a motorcycle , we would not be having this discussion right now .

  3. @PJPR01 I am flying out to Phoenix, continuing to Peoria Arizona, this coming Friday. February 2nd, 2024. I am going to check out that red Quota that has obsessed me since I started to look for a Stelvio 1200 NTX. I finally got the Peoria dealership to confirm he had the front tire in stock, but if I wanted the rear tire too, I had to pay in advance. The reason was, they don't sell much of this size, so if they were to stock the tire, they would probably not have any opportunity to sell it. I negotiated a restocking fee, since I have not yet purchased the motorcycle until I check it out. The seller is confident that it is good to go. So, I will have a pair of brand new Dunlop Trailmax Mission to journey back to H'town, if it comes to that.

  4. Fit a new oil cooler. I bought one of these years ago as a spare. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/175907905618?epid=18024036452&hash=item28f4eda052:g:CasAAOSwT6pVkuJ4&amdata=enc%3AAQAIAAAA4DGoZbS4KMUdszj0ffSVl%2Fhf%2FORfMYgJ158QIY%2FUntggB8nk8nWWkkcFeYpt%2Fp%2BYUW9n%2F%2FJkJ5rCj7O1Cp2VrwiwCBkQxw%2FQvo7VCikAwdWdGdWitVKc%2BR9OS6qujQ%2B9dq7HZyAt1eI6g4Zl3Yd3lDYvzcdXCDgxWk9wv%2BsbkRvzwoiI%2B5p2Oz6jaOUxfdyVm8TMIGIniiKscND5E9RvgHoK7c26a91tKA8xo47wkDKLXllQMoWoATI2FKWKL5yKIfokYtuHHiDegmOFZ5wa0TRDb2eh66JR3qsoHYc%2BwYIK|tkp%3ABk9SR57o--isYw

  9. Couldn't see it in the manuals I referenced. The procedure laid out for the Daytona etc: in the manual starts with checking the TPS before moving to vacuum balance on the TBs. The Sporti as I recall has a different TPS but the procedure in the manual is the same

  10. I looked in the workshop manuals for the early Daytona and a later one covering the Daytona RS/Centauro/Sporti In the injection chapter both of them quote the 150mV +/- 15mV docc. Perhaps the US manuals are different but the statement is present in the copies I have, the +/- 15mV equating to a tolerance.

  13. Hey Doc, thanks for your comments😊 it’s a tarted-up Centy…. 1225 conversion, Dymags, Ohlins, full Motogadget, lithium battery and other weight saving mods. Weighs in at 187kg. It’s been a labour of love, but I’ve finally got the Guzzi I wanted - apart from the tranny lash of course😬
