  1. I hate to sound OLD . I love the Stones but the price of tickets , I wouldn't pay that much to have them in my backyard and they better finish by 7 o'clock because I'm goin' to bed or until they sing Monkey Man !

  2. Saw The Rolling Stones last night here in Houston! Opening night of the Hackney Diamonds tour…last time they were here was 2019…great show, cool set list and a sold Out crowd! If you want to see a young version of what Tina Turner sounded like you should see this show for the backup singer Chanel…what a voice!! Mick was amazing as always…Ronnie still strutting and Keef sort of low key but enjoying himself! I hope some of you guys get to see them on this tour…what fun!!

  5. Plenty of guitars, plenty of performers. I usually go each year, this time I will go with my V11 for a change. It is more something for those of us living in Texas. https://www.guitarshow.com/

  6. just to be clear, my original post is not about LEDs, I just have the stock lights and turn signal indicator.

  7. That's what is expected if you use an LED, as it's a diode the warning light will only illuminate in one direction only, in the other the LED blocks the current. It's a bit of a faff to put the other diodes in place to get an LED to work. @Kiwi_Roy did publish a diagram somewhere on here to show the mod, but you need to get into the dash and if you're not fussed then by far the easiest solution is just to go back to a bulb

  8. I installed the Lucky Phil extender on my V11 yesterday and the shifting feels quite supurb. I do still now and then feel a little resistance in the upshift from 2nd to 3rd. Not often, only like once or twice on a ride. So, sometime this riding season will re-work the shift selector as described and install my recently acquired 'super spring.'

  9. I am having the same but opposite issue. My indicator light on the dash flashes when the signalling left, but not when I signal right. I did replace the bulb with LED. So I think it will be much easier to just switch it back to incandescent instead of performing the electrical surgery needed to have the LEDs work properly.

  20. My Dad's mate Lance used to have a big Chev Impala back when we were kids... This was quite something in 70's NZ I can tell you. Yeah, the boot (trunk to you guy's) was bloody huge! I remember throwing the racing go kart and everything needed to race all day in it and still there was heaps of room ! That and even just cruising around it'd chirp the tyres when the 3 speed auto changed gears.... Bloody impressive especially when you're more used to 52 Morrie Oxfords and 57 100E Prefects..... Ha ha the memories! I'm just about to call me ole mate in Perth for Xmas and as lifelong mates and gearheads will remind him of the ole days and Lance's Impala! His 57 100E is long gone and now has an XK8 Jag in the garage! Anyways folk's I'm gonna pour myself a glass o vino and have a laugh with me ole mate so to all of you in our wee V11 world...Merry Christmas and hope you all have a great festive season! Cheers Guzzler Ps I kinda think many of us here would be pretty good mates if we weren't spread round the globe eh. Still bloody good to know ya all in cyberland all the same!

  22. It seems there is minimal difference (for our V11 purposes) between a V-rated (149mph/240km/h) rating versus a Z-rated (149+mph/240+km/h) tire. Even an H-rated tire is probably fine (130mph/210km/h) unless you intend to ride flat-out across The Salisbury Plain for hours. FWIW, I've never seen mySport over 135mph. For the record, I didn't say I rode it with the Veglia pegged, just "never over" . . .
