The disc was missing from the one on the speedo. I had a damaged angle drive in the parts bin, so I dismantled it and used that disc. Rather than just repairing the speedo angle drive with the JB, I did both of the ones on the bike as well as an NOS extra I had, just in case. My test ride proved successful!
Both my parents lived through WWII, not unscathed, though.
I have never seen so many Star Spangled banners outside the USA; I thought I would see more Union Jacks and Maple leaves. There was a Danish flag though.
How did they muster so many WWII vehicles like this? notice the motorcycles...
Just watched it - filled in so many blanks for me. I'm surprised that Pete Roper hasn't added his insight to this one. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
We just booked our vacation for September, heading to Lisbon and Porto Portugal, as well as Saville and Madrid Spain. Should anyone know of anything Moto in those areas worth visiting, please share. I usually try to at least stop at a few dealers or local shops. Thanks
The seals I bought were from Italy. They came with an Italian price tag, not one from China. I feel like they fall under the diminishing returns category, but it's history now because they are installed.
I did my first (short) ride with the UPIII.
There is a significant flow of air through the mesh, yes. It is better than the Bowtex which has none. The UPIII has a better slim fit but the air circulation is not making you feel a lot more comfortable than in the Marsee.
I am guessing that if the place was not so humid, it may work better. But it is definitively an improvement from the Bowtex in terms of air flow.
The Marsee is still relevant, though.
This is the second time I ran into @activpop at the Portland Cars and Coffee. Last time he was on I believe his Stelvio? Anyways this time he brought a proper Guzzi. I had the kiddo with me so no riding. We had one of those sneaky warm days (high was about 75F later in the day) in the early Spring. They are always welcome.
The bike looks and sounds fantastic. The Titaniums are definitely not as loud as Mistrals but not everyone has to be a hooligan.
One of these days I'll unbury the V11 and bring it out too.
I considered Aliexpress seals when I rebuilt my last 43mm forks but considering what a PITA fork seal replacement is and the small saving you make on the seals I went with a known brand.

I always thought it would be compelling to have photos of my luscious Sport with an appropriate "model."
There are so many obstacles to that happening. Not the least of which is being a bassman.
My guitar guys asked me, "What do you call the woman on the arm of a bassman?"
> a tattoo <
Yes, posted here before.
What is new is how much has been added to @OzMatt's website. The man has put forth a fabulous effort to archive rare history and images. With plans for further additions, stay tuned!

Just a quick update folks. The bike is back on the road and have managed to squeeze in 150 odd miles between deluges and can report that the gearbox is smooth as butter (sweeter shift with @Lucky Phil gear lever extension mod at last). No backlash problems, so jobs a good ‘un😊
This bike messes with my head. I only changed the dogs cos I’d got them (but the old ones looked fine) so no real change at all but it is much better than it was….. hmmmmm🤔. Just as changing the plugs which looked fine brought it back to life 🙄
I suspect she just loves the attention😂. Still, I’ll just park that and bank the positives! Ciao
