Finally finished the 12K service on my V85, my mount for the SSR XX. No, it's not that difficult, but I sometimes think that I put the "pro" in procrastination. I did muse about riding the venerable hotdog & mustard EV after a nice local jaunt yesterday with Bob Wegman, Master Guzzi Wrench Bob Wegman who rode down form Rochester to rescue me from myself -- R&R'd the V85's over-long OEM side stand with a shorter one (also OEM, but chopped and re-welded). But the V85 won the toss. Kathi's still out in the PNW, but gets back just in time to drive the support vehicle. AJ brought back a Convert from Tennessee a few days ago ... ... but will, as planned, be on his Guardia, a twin to mine. Bill

Well, I had a green V11 Sport and I had a Griso for a while, what more could I ask for? Perhaps the V8 racer, it would be fun to roll up for coffee on that.

I never thought this day would come, but after months of self denial and kicking the ball down the road, the time has finally come to post up my V11 Le Mans, Rossa Corsa Full disclosure, she is a project. I've had a constant issue with the left cylinder "hiccuping" and dying and not holding an idle unless the idle adjustment is turned way up. I've tried pretty much everything this wonderful forum has suggested (TPS sensor voltage, balancing the throttle bodies, adjusting the valves, checking the boot connection from the intake to the throttle bodies, adjusting the idle screws, etc) and at this point life has gotten too busy with the current number of bikes that I have. At the end of the day, I'm too busy personally to properly address it and I want it to go to someone who can give it the love she deserves The V11 isn't perfect as you can see from the pictures. She has a salvage title from when someone turned left into me. She's a different color as a result crash from an excellent painter and fiberglass worker. She has probably 50k miles on it (odometer stopped working, very well documented issue on this forum), but the motor has maybe 5k miles since a new crankshaft was installed. There are a lot of excellent parts Ohlins suspension front and back (she is a Rossa Corsa despite the pain suggestion) Staintune Mufflers from a Daytona with Mistral Headers and crosspipe Megacycle 620x9 cam Ported heads (don't know who did it, but they've been worked on) Hepco-Becker luggage rack (20L cases also provided) That's what I remember on the top of my head. I want her to go to a good home where either she'll be brought back or contribute to something else. I'm asking for $2,000 for her

Hey there All, I am getting things together for the XX gathering. This morning I connected the 02 Lemans to my laptop and ran DIAG to make sure every thing was up to spects. Installed a freshened up set of iridium side gaped spark plugs. Changed the brake, clutch and trans fluids, also checked engine oil that was just changed not so long ago. I believe that I am good to go, keeping my fingers crossed. Am bringing the lap top, all cables, charger, manometer, fan, spare 02 Scura ECU, and misc.(possible Test & Tune event) I had two others ditch on me (won't say who), so coming solo this time but that's ok because I know I'll be in good company. Hi, you might want to use this XDF. I've restarted investigating the 15M/RC code some time ago and updated the XDFs as well. Not finished by far, but more comments and naming of previously unknown scalars/tables. Cheers Meinolf 15M_GuzziDiag_V3.0.xdf

Very retro and quaint. Those are the sort of pegs I used to make 30 years ago and felt they were very cool. Then CNC machining arrived and it all changed. No longer could we spend a several hours at the lathe, mill, bandsaw and linisher and come up with "cool" and special, the world moved on. Here's a set of pegs from my 1198 that are about 14 years old. This is how fast it all changed in around 8 years. These cost far less than the bespoke ones we made manually back in the late 90's and early 2000's as well. I wish someone would make this level of beauty these days for the V11. It takes CNC. I could spend the rest of my life at the mill and never be able to achieve this.

I am not going to make it . Don't ask . I will do it next year .
