  1. Same early morning situation on Sunday, before down. As soon as you are in motion, the speed gets you to hit the dew point, and your visor is drenched. You need to continuously turn you head to get the wind to move the water.

  3. Snow markers up many places already. They might as well have been there all the time. Summer, oh well, to close to the polar circle. Not a lot of km this year. But have IPA [emoji482]. Cheers Tom. Sent fra min SM-S906B via Tapatalk

  4. I wish I could have gotten that signal instead of being stuck out on Long Island at my parent's.

  5. Unless it's had the roller cam/tappet retro fit. Lots did have as Guzzi offered kits. Pete Roper will be along shortly and know the details but you can visit the Grissogetto forum and there will be a ton of late model 8 valve cam and tappet detailed info including from Pete.

  7. I believe the factory started the switch to roller tappets in the mid 2012.

  8. Up to mid 2013 from memory. Any engine that has flat tappets, ie non roller tappet engines will fail it's just a matter of when. In the short term or medium term. Phil

  9. He only stated the rules enacted: if you overtake and exceed the track limits, you need to drop the position. In this occasion, the race direction did not investigate the incident, and the incident was not part of the after race report from the stewarts. The consensus is, that because it was the last lap of the race, the overtake pass was at the limit but for the beauty of the sport, it was deemed acceptable. I think we should let it slide...

  10. Absolutely... Amarillo is really easy to capture because unlike South Texas, there is no humidity. I have some example of early morning fog while travelling to Montgomery from Navasota... Unreal!

  13. Thanks, @wavey_davey1, for the detailed update. Welldone, and carry on! Just to stand by the record, GutsiBits ripped the Roper plate design without permission or acknowledgment. While they might, otherwise, serve the community well enough, that transgression is a mark against them. Two of our members have provided us with approved "P.Roper" plates honoring the designer with donations to "Doctors Without Borders." Perhaps you could invite them to make a donation , in kind . . . 15. Very much so...temps most of the day were 98F to 102F....when it gets down to low 90's or high 80's, it feels positively cool! You're right about the wing...very smooth, one of the things that "hooked" me was the new sharper design compared to the older versions, and it's lighter as well compared to the prior models. It's truly a dream to drive...having spent the last 15 years on Guzzi's, all of which I still ride a lot I'm tickled to have a Wing that is this smooth...
