Mine has a white spring and black adjuster with 10, maybe 12 numbered dentent stops on dial. Wait, what? Early V11 Sport literature and press releases also said "White Power" shock, but none have ever been reported - only the Sachs-Boge with blue rebound adjuster and white spring. Earlier Sport 1100/ 1100 Sport had the White Power (maybe the Daytonas and Centauro, also? ) Do the Tenni have a Sachs-Boge? Or White Power rear shock?

And is not TB syncing part and parcel of starting up guzzidiag? That's the bit that I can't visualize from the instructions and looking over my bike.
-
Ensuring the throttle is fully throttled is a visual thing?
-
You tell me. I am going to reinstall air box with stock filter and drillouts. I am a complete novice at tuning EFI and a failure at carbs. This looks far easier to conquer. I expect I may need to reset TPS along the way, that being prescribed before attempting anything with guzzidiag. Presently it runs very well.

I am only concerned with the plastic fuse box. It bends under finger pressure. I can probably get a thin screwdriver in under from the front but that might cause all sorts of electrical mayhem before I knew it.
-
Under the individual fuse contacts looks same as the one next to it. A copper widget. I imagine the wiring harness connects ti thr widgets further on down but there is nothing visible.

Mine came from Japan with Panasonic Nais relays.

I've been reading up all over. Haven't come across anything in the way of a faq how to that has live pics. Plenty of text. I haven't done much with carbs even, let alone EFI.

Going round the mufflers makes a lot more bulk and potential flex.
-
Believe me the clamping force of the mount bolts is way in excess of the weight of the bike. Not even worth considering. Ciao the sump pan itself not looking too sturdy was my concern.
-
Nervous about levering on the plastic holder. No amount of finger grabbing shifts the rear grommet and the front one shifts just a few mm and stops.
-
Uh oh. Anyone got a better story ordering there?

Where's all the photos at? What do you have to pull off to get to the adjustments? I make out TPS unit, throttle link but not much else. When you say ''adjust throttle screw''is that the cable length adjusting screw nut arrangement?

The teacher I remember being the most fastidious with the stuff had a sideline job with Nasa / USAF doing maths and making star observations for the newfangled GPS satellites and missile systems. All his neurons presumably fired correctly.

Caspers delivered already. How long did your ECS obd2 take to arrive? You mentioned they were slow but that's relative to one's patience quota. That other thread noting that cheap UK source for the whole kaboodle was a day late.

what is the diameter of your nozzle? I can't even get a regular one into the gap on the rear. Have to get a squirt from my mechanic's needle. I've seen the pictures of ground down tips but that wouldn't come near fitting on mine. btw, when I did the spline it slurped up grease like a thirsty goat. Slurp slurp slurp .....ten squirts and I quit for fear it was going to come flinging out. Mechanic gave it more. Have to wonder if it was ever greased at the factory or since. If you have never watered a dry goat now you know how it drinks.

no worries Rob. I can only confirm that the outboard pin is indeed 12v wrt ground when ignition on. I tried yanking the fuse block out of the grommets as you instructed but only the front one budges and then it stops. There are button hex screws in there but I left it.

???my Tenni is still listed as an Australian.
-
Gotcha. Any idea if inner or outer leg is the hot one? I suppose pulling out the fuse block to look under would be too easy?
-
NZ is yet to merge with Australia.
-
Zooter rhymes with copter? Fuse out, probes in, key on, turn over?
-
Critical tip I only read once. Don't grease the spline with the wheel off or the grease pressure will push the shaft apart giving you a hell of a job to reset so you can get the wheel back on.

Might have something to do with being on pod filters?

Guzzi Evangelism and a Future Guzzisti?
Zooter replied to Scud's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
Cool story. I think I was scarred as a kid by the biker gangs overtaking us on the highway in the 70's. All Triumps and Harleys ''under load'' as you put it. Mum would always say ''you're never getting a motorcycle''. Little did she know the virus was already in me.
