Hello. I have a question, or rather a request. I suspect my current brake pads are 8-10 years old. I want to replace them because they dirty the clamps and they show black dirt on the shields, which immediately after the laxation and so scary and fall into resonance. Can you recommend some concrete brembo pads as the best for fast and dynamic driving? I would be obliged.

Hi again. I would like to ask again whether modifying the fuel map in the form of turning off the lambda probe/sensor in it is safe for the motorcycle? Some guys says that it might blast engine pistons?
-
One more thing, if Meinolf or someone else have the 15RC ECU Map - the original or modified map pelase send me one. I will be more than greateful. t.szymanowski@unicornmedia.pl

Meinolf, the basic question is whether or not the large consumption is responsible for the disabled lambda sensor in the ECU map. I did it with TunnerPro. The second thing if it is the broken TPS if the probe I turned off to help something - o dont think so, broken TPS - is broken TPS? In my mechanic opinion, I have a broken TPS, but in my opinion something is wrong - I turn on the readings of the probe lampda it breaks the engine and work bad, i turned off lambda in the map it works well but I am concerned about the smell of fuel and excessive burning.

ok, sorry for the translator. I wanted to do well, and came out as usual interrupting are as the engine works at 3,000 rev. have the character of kicks and jerks quite intense - kicks back. Also when the engine is running to feel quite the smell of gasoline and exhaust. In principle, feel them within 5 meters of the motorcycle. Do not get me wrong, I like that smell, but it probably is not exactly the way it should be. I have a sports air filter, full Mistral exhaust system, intake pipe, exhaust cross (under the bike), and exhaust cans. I have 15RC - this is the model of my ECU Map, i have European model of V11 Lemans 2003 with CAT. I spoke with several V11 owners and in Europe they should burn us about 5.5 l / 100 km on the road and in the city max 7. I talked with a good mechanic and said that this could be a problem with a broken carbon track in TPS.

Hi, I have such a question. I have Moto Guzzi Lemans 2003 ECU version with catalyst. At the moment I have a whole exhaust system installed from Mistral. Intake tubes, cross tube, exhaust pipes. I have stuck lambda probes into the cross tube. On the fuel map of my ECU I had to turn off the lambda readings because I had interrupted at 3,000 RPM. The interruptions were with the end of the exhalation, the crucifix and the complete exhalation. It does not matter what I exchanged with the probe was a problem. Allegedly a matter of setting, but interruptions occurred despite the play with various regulations, etc. At the moment the motorcycle is very good, but I have a problem with the smell of exhaust gas and gasoline. Do not get me wrong I love this smell :-) but I'm beginning to fear control and if it is not a signal that something is wrong. The second case of a motorbike burns at a sharp city rider of 8 liters per 100 km. 29.04 MPG. On the route should burn about 33.6 MPG (7l / 100km). Are all these symptoms normal? You also burn so much V11? Let's know if there is any way to incorporate lambda and reduce combustion.

Ok as simply as this - MOTUL P2 Brake Clean and even i do not open the calipers just sprawy into the caliper and on the brake wheels.
-
hello, I checked the fork and oil spills - none of them flowed, although in fact they were never exchanged sealants - unless at 2 thousand kilometers because now it has invaded 18 thousand. Anyway, it's not that though looking at the brakes rather they are clean. I will try to clean it even more precisely.

Hi, riding my lemans pretty sharply around town noticed a strange thing. When the brakes are warm up and with sharp crashes they make strange sounds. Something like blowing into an empty bottle. I checked the pads and they still in stock. In addition to the sound, they also give a slight vibration to the steering wheel. Do you have an idea what this could be? Maybe something with a brake pump?

All the relays i repleace for omron 5 pin - not charging again. It is caple, voltage regulator or alternator. Or all the things in the same time
-
Ok. Approx. Battery charged. I connected back and fired - I checked the voltage meter exchanging all relays one by one. Independence of everything is the same reaction. I start the motorcycle is charging the battery for about 10 seconds. Later, as the rotation drops and stabilizes - it does not charge. I add gas - nothing hapend. The voltage is 11.9 / 8. Voltage regulator? GU32703810? I think it is it, because nothing else comes to my mind.
-
Sorry for maybe sipping the question, but from which side looking? From the battery as I understand it?
-
Sorry - the problem came back to me. Do you have information which relays is the one that is connected to the tachometer? - and of course charging the Yuasa :-) I checked out and the power generator works fine and looks bery fine. Power Regulator in my opinion is working or not working. This is not possible that it works one time and another not. So do not know what do next. May it be some cable? Or i cheange the relay all for the compleatly new one.

Hello, This is not a simple problem, however. Apparently my lambda probe is crazy. Most European v11 catalytic converters include the problem of gaps and gusts while driving. The problem is with ECU and ignition map. It's a known thing. I want to get rid of the problem, I upgraded the map, and in principle from one of my colleagues in this forum - thank you very much on this occasion :-) - got a ready map. Anyway I had to disable the lambda sensor on this map. After turning it off - the motorcycle seems to have been healed. Unfortunately, without the lambda probe with readings only the engine temperature and the air sensor of the motorcycle just jogging in the junk. Because I have exhausted all the mistral - collector tubes, cross tube and exhaust tip, I wrote about the problem to Mistral. Got a response that problems with the V Twin engine solves their new solution Guzzi V Twin Boost - on the sidelines with the products. Http://www.mistralspecialparts.it/# Do not advertise this solution because of Poland - no one has bought it yet, I guarantee. On the other hand, it is reportedly solving a lot of problems in general Moto Guzzi with electronics and sensors. So I remember trying it out and checking it out. Then i will be back with the opinion.

Right now is like this, but i asked another owner of v11 and seams to be normal. On normal working hot engine (tested drove 50 km) i have 1100/1150 RPM at idle, when i driving for long time on the road, and suddenly stoped at the red light, RPM may fall dawn to 1000 or 900 RPM even. Few minutes, and goes back to the 1050/1100 RPM. This, i think is normal because of the breath of the engine...

Ok I was in the service and the mechanic screw up the air flow in the left bypass. The question is whether revs may be so different between 100/200 RPM between, a cold engine and a warm one? All in all, we are now 3 degrees Celsius outside so beasicly not the typical Italian weather now . Maybe it's also a matter of aura ...
-
Yes, I changed the cable to a new one - the old one was screwed up. According to my mechanic, there was a problem with its location and it had to be pushed somewhere. I will try to check it as you said and move the cord when the revs jumps - as it goes down means the cable problem.
-
Yes it was set at warm engine. It is propably moust of time at 1100 but some times gous to the 1200/1300...
-
Ok i have a question. The Idle revs. The mechanic sets up to 800/900 on cold engine. So it is working fine - some throttle and revs jump up to level 1100 and stays on this level. But when i'm ridding it at some time, sometimes the rpm jumps up to 1200/1300 at idle - they not go higher but they are a little higher than normal. Some time and then fall again to 1100. Question is this normal and do not worry? I replaced complet exhaust system - collector tubes, cross tube and I have a set of mufflers with silencers. After replacing the collector tubes, it was not self-adapting under the computer. This is some finction, that beasicly the workshop do every time i go there. Do you thing i need to do the self adaptation? Or simply this is normal that v11 revs some time a little at the idle...

Ok this was the jumping relays problem. The one of the relay jumps in the move, and the yuasa was not charged by the generator. So the plastic fix and problem solced thanks for the advise. :-)
-
Ok the new throttle by domino is great it works very fine, it is much better than the origynal so problem solved
-
ok sorry, it is the v11 lemans 2003. And it is the throttle go back problem. "The plastic cable guide on the single cable bikes is worn?" Yes this is the exact problem i have. I must change it with an accessory and the question is if the domino throttle will fit?
-
Hey, I have such a problem. Namely, it is about a throttle, which is no longer available in Europe for virtually one cable. They are used alone, which have the same problem of rubbed plastic. Throttle is jamming, practically all the time. I'm trying to do something about it, but I'm wondering if anyone of you tried the domino universal throttle with handles and would it fit? This is the type i wonder about: http://www.domino-group.com/en/catalogue/throttleControls_Detail.aspx?idmaster=2579
