Air temp 22 engine temp 22 turn the engine on and the engine temp raise . air temp ( ambient) stays obviously 22 Looks like the sensor is working when I saw the co trim at 21 the engine temp went from 22 to 70 definitely it’s working. now i have not ridden the bike since the night I set the co trim to 0 I smell gas all over lol before I go for a ride I have to drop the oil…. Again ah ah man’s pray gas doesn’t go again into the sump or I am gonna light it up for good ah ah jk

Ok I see it . It’s screwed in like a spark plug. How do I test it bad? should I just replace it and pray that was the cause? where can I buy one ? thank you

Hey sorry for the delay ( moving sucks lol ) pardon my ignorance, what is ETS ? Engine temperature, sensor? When the engine is on the temperature of the engine increases … I can see it on Guzzi diag. I am moving so I had to chance to ride the bike etc. Will do asap thank you

Did that and CO trim at 21 might not be a big deal but it run too rich , so in my case … better start to lean the bike a bit . I am tired or dropping fresh oil and filter due to gas in the sump. also the amount of spark plugs I have been replacing….🙈

Should I just check tomorrow morning? I think I got it lol better late than never. Thank you so much again for your help seriously you are a good person 👍 will report back after a test ride thank you again

Spark plugs are dark but not soaked dry black powdery . and I can smell a little bit of gas in the oil . throttle bodies are balanced. the tps is set at 154 ( to be precise) I know it should be at 157 but I don’t think that’s the issue . Valves are adjusted, I own others old guzzie and bmw I al familiar with valve adjustment. I am running out of idea …
-
Thank you for your answer that’s what I was looking for . is there a way to lean the mixture a little bit more ? does the tps setting have something to do with the air fuel mixture? Can the mixture be leaned a little playing with it ?
-
Hello everyone, I have a quick question regarding the Air bypass screw on the throttle bodies. Screwing it in or out does it lean or enrich the mixture? I did some search but couldn’t find the answer… thank you M

V11 frame ( later model02-04 ) and 1100 sport .
arveno replied to arveno's topic in Technical Topics
Thank you Doc for your information. I test ridden a 1100 sport ( 96 ) and it felt “ different “ from my 02 lemans. maybe was the narrower gas tank and the lower bars that gave me the impression the 1100 sport was “ lighter “ but still seemed longer to turn. but I only ridden it a few miles so really can’t make a comparison. if you had to choose between the two which one would you choose ? ( beside the difference in carb /efi model and the transmission with straight cut gears…I don’t want to beat a dear horse lol ) just speaking of gut feeling and ride ability. we all know the technical differences . thank you. and yes I have found one for sale locally and… pondering if would be a silly move to sell the v11 and get the 1100 sport.
