Triumph Speed RR versus Ducati Panigale V2?
KINDOY2 replied to p6x's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
I have arthritis in both thumbs from wrenching 55 years and doing martial arts for 30 of those and I have broken and re broken my left wrist 2-3 times ( cant remember) from back when I used to race scrambles and motocross.. My Scura with the RAM clutch is like a dream to pull..I can pull it with my little finger if I want to, I've tried it My 2022 Ducati is an extremely light pull as well, plus it came from the factory with a up and down Quick shifter, so about the only time I use the clutch it to put it in 1st from a stop, and sometimes from 1st to second, just to be more gentle to the gearbox. My MG California with the Cable clutch..will give you a workout though....1999 5 speed -
Yup..I've had the Givi on a couple V-11's..If need be its not hard to shim them if your handy at all...its not like your hauling an automobile battery around in there ( I hope)

During the journey back to Spain, Marc Marquez began to experience discomfort with his vision and upon his arrival in Barcelona on Monday, he had an emergency visit to the Hospital Clinic de Barcelona with his trusted ophthalmologist, Dr. Sanchez Dalmau, who after an examination confirmed a relapse in the diplopia that the rider suffered last November.

Triumph Speed RR versus Ducati Panigale V2?
KINDOY2 replied to p6x's topic in Special place for banter and conversation
I've owned both of the bikes you mention..I put tons of accessories on the Triumph..It was't bad looking and fun for a minute...but at the end of the day..It still felt cheaply made and a little boring...Resale sucks. If I had to choose ? I'll take any of the Major brand Italian bikes over any of the Major bikes made elsewhere..and I have pretty much had them all. -

One of the best gear investments I have made in recent years..A buddy of mine told me about his and loved it, I bought one 4 years ago and it is worth every penny..Where I live in the San Francisco Bay area the riding temps can fluctuate 20 degree's or more from the east bay to over the mountain on the windy, foggy coast..I wear it year round with my Summer textile jackets..it blocks all the wind..but breaths nice. I bought one for my wife as well. I HATE to be cold when I ride...ruins it for me. They make lowers to go with it if you choose. https://www.dainese.com/us/en/motorbike/technical-layers/d-core-no-wind-thermo-tee-ls--201915957.html?dwvar_201915957_color=BLACK%2FANTHRACITE&cgid=motorbike-technical-layers#start=1

As you said Phil they will get the new 2022 electronics sorted in a couple showings...Bastianini is on last years Factory bike though Correct? , Its tried and proven so probably no unknowns or surprises to deal with . He rode a great race to the end though and waited for his openings ..a smart young rider.

I used to slide in (sneak) to see Buddy, Howlin Wolf, Little Walter, Muddy Waters when I was 15-16 at a couple little clubs in Chicago.."Checkers",Alice's revisited"( My Home Town) Great music. My Friend down in Vista went to See John Mayall at the "Belly Up" last week......That place has been there forever it seems, I remember going there to see Blues in the early 70's..an institution! Sounds like you had a memorable night!
