I've done it on all brand's with these tank bubbles..ie: Moto Guzzi, Aprilia, Ducati's..As you mentioned..I use a larger sized needle ( as in leather sewing) pierce the bubbles and then lightly heat with a gun and hold the spot down with my thumb, sometimes you may have to pierce in more than one spot if a big bubble....usually works very well. I had a black Aprilia tank which had 0ver 25 bubbles..when I finished you could barely tell. The thing is..whenever I have done this I also removed the tank for at least a few weeks, ( couple months if possible in thhe off season) washed it out with hot water and dish soap and let it dry out real well..then sometimes In the winter I stuck a hair drier in the top and let it run on low all day. I also usually caswell treat the tank after before installing . The results are very good..the tank is back to original size and the bubbles dont show..I have had some for a couple years after and they never returned. Worth all the trouble imo if its an otherwise nicely painted original tank.

Graham Hill was the nicest one I met..I worked with several when I was with "International Management and ""Wide World of Sports" back in the 60's and early 70's ..Jackie Stewart, Peter Revson..,etc. but I liked Graham Hill -

Lost it now..that was a couple days ago..I read a lot of stuff daily and at my age ..short term memory is probably my weakest attribute. Pretty sure it was on this site...https://www.mining.com/all-the-mines-tesla-needs-to-build-20-million-cars-a-year/ -

I read this today... Here comes the Tesla battery. To produce it you need to excavate: 12 tons. of rock for Lithium 5 tons. of cobalt minerals 3 t. of mineral for nickel 12 tons. the mineral for the copper Need to move 250 tons. of land to obtain: 12 kg of Lithium 13.6 pounds of nickels 22 kg of manganese 6.8 kg of Cobalt 100 Kg of Rams 200 kg of aluminum, steel and plastic. The Caterpillar 994A used to move this earth consumes 1000 litres of diesel in 12 hours. Here is the “zero emissions” car. -

Federal officials investigating two recent crashes involving Teslas that killed motorcyclists Andy Greaser Jul 28, 2022 200 Comments Two motorcycle fatalities this month, including one this past weekend in Utah when a Tesla rear-ended a rider, are among the cases of crashes by cars using advanced driver assistance that are under investigation by federal officials. In the most recent fatality, a Tesla driver rear-ended and fatally injured a 34-year-old motorcyclist shortly after 1 a.m. on Sunday, according to a report from the Utah Department of Public Safety (DPS). The motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle and died at the scene. The Tesla driver told police that the 2020 Model 3’s Autopilot feature was engaged at the time of impact. The collision happened in the southbound high occupancy vehicle (HOV) lane of I-15 near the city of Draper. The motorcyclist’s Harley-Davidson was in front of the Tesla and apparently the vehicle’s sensors did not detect the motorcycle ahead. The police report said the driver “did not see” the motorcycle and hit it from behind. The driver of the Tesla was not injured. No charges have been filed yet and the incident is still under investigation. By federal law, solo motorcycle riders are allowed to use HOV lanes unless states seek an exception due to safety reasons. Common Tread contacted the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) about the incident, and a media representative provided a list of all open Special Crash Investigations involving advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS). Of the 48 current cases from 2016 to present, 39 involve Tesla vehicles, and 14 of the Tesla crashes resulted in at least one fatality. /blog_content_image/image/82988/gallery/3FD65C35-1841-425C-A5FE-FEE562420839.jpeg The motorcycle, which appears to be a Harley-Davidson Sportster, was hit from behind. Utah DHS photo. Due to the Tesla Autopilot’s alleged failure, the Utah case falls under the purview of the NHTSA’s Office of Defects Investigation (ODI). This is the second such case opened this month involving a motorcyclist fatality. On July 7, the driver of a 2021 Tesla Model Y struck and killed a 48-year-old motorcyclist on the Riverside Freeway in California. That case is also currently under investigation. Tesla’s position as the self-proclaimed leader in ADAS technology, as well as the fact that ADAS is available for all Tesla models, only partly explains the brand’s overrepresentation in ADAS crashes and fatalities. Tesla’s current ADAS uses a camera array called Tesla Vision to detect other road users. Contrary to the Autopilot name, Tesla’s system is not fully autonomous, nor should the driver rely on Autopilot alone to safely operate the vehicle, per Tesla’s own instructions.

“Then we decided on a signal to give. ‘And when you see this [Mapping 8] message, you need to go’. “So I sat there [behind Bagnaia] and honestly, it was difficult because I didn’t see the pit board for half the race. I didn’t know how many laps were left. But then I saw ‘Mapping 8’ and I said, ‘now is the moment to go’. So I started to push and I did the move on Pecco.” di Giannantonio's crew chief Frankie Carchedi likewise told pitlane reporter Simon Crafar: "We sent a message because he wanted to know when there were 5 laps left in the race. It wasn't anything special. I think people have got the wrong idea." Ducati sporting director Paolo Ciabatti confirmed the message came as a surprise to the factory:
