I think we should rename that thread to "Garbled Warbling".
  2. I think they will find it useful Pete- just been having a look. Thanks for doing this. Guy
  3. Pre-season Moto GP test times: http://www.motorcyclenews.com/nav?page=mot...ry=SPORT_MOTOGP Rossi just in front but its close- looks like Hayden, Pedrosa and Capirossi will be right on the pace. Guy
  4. It looks very impressive- 150bhp too- I hope it does well. If I had a spare $31000 I'd buy one but I don't. Guy
  5. Just ordered two sets of FBF pistons- one for me and one for Mal. Should be with us soon. Guy
  6. I agree a good bit of banter livens up the day! I have rhino skin because I ride a Harley too, and I get the piss taken out of me by my Guzzi riding friends on a very regular basis. Guy
  7. I quite like the look of the military Ural combinations. In any case, I won't criticise anybody for what they ride- its their choice and good luck to them. Guy
  8. I have just booked 2 places for Sunday 16th April- if anyone cares to join myself and Mal please book with Hottrax direct- you can do it online. Guy
  9. The twin pipes look good
  10. "Squeal like a pig for me, boy!"
  11. Hi George- I have done Cherbourg to the Pyrenees which is a similar journey- you can do it in a day if you want but I would say you are better off overnighting somewhere like Limoges or Brive and breaking up the journey. When I went it took us eight and a half hours to get to Brive because the Autoroutes had huge traffic jams- I guess if you had a clear run down it would be easier. Good luck with finding a V11- have you tried Motomecca- they have one in stock: http://www.motomeccaspares.co.uk/bikes/index.php Not too far from Taunton ooooarrr! Guy
  12. Yep there are plenty of Roos in Australia- I have eaten the meat a couple of times but don't like it very much- quite bland compared to beef. Guy
  13. In a way bikes have influenced my car choice- once you have enjoyed even the modest performance of a Guzzi, a normal car seems very slow in comparison so I always tend to go for fast cars. My current drive (company car) is a Subaru Impreza WRX which is excellent in winter, especially in the wet and snow. I chose this becuase many of my work journeys were over deserted moorland where the weather turns quickly in winter. I would like to own an Italian car but they do not feature on my company car list because of the rapid depreciation plus I only like either 4 wheel drive or rear wheel drive cars and they tend to be front wheel drive. Guy
  14. If you want the toughest abrasion protection, Kangaroo leather is the best. Guy
  15. Spot on David- my request was for Mark to optimise the mid range.
  16. I have wardrobe full of bike gear: Frank Thomas gore tex lined quilted two piece- ace in the winter really snug Hein Gericke 2 piece summer fabric Maxwell suit- loads of air vents to keep you cool but no waterproofing- need to wear waterproofs over the top if it rains A couple of leather one piece race suits for track days Hood armoured jeans- denim, lined with kevlar with Knox knee and hip protectors A leather jacket to go with jeans (if I am going for a short dry trip to the shops / pub etc) All these have back protectors and armour May sound over the top but having the right gear for the conditions is crucial if you are to really enjoy your biking. I will be riding through Death Valley in July- that may be one occasion where I wear a t shirt and jeans! Guy

The Netherlands is quite laid back about homosexuality- nothing wrong with being gay over there- I say fair play to Antonio for coming out of the closet on this international forum. Guy
  18. Yes please or anything sharp! Guy
  19. Hopefully she is indecent.
  20. Where's me rope gone??
  21. Or the quick way is to whack the f**ker with a huge rubber mallet. Guy
  22. I am quite happy to perform an examination and find out the answer Nogbad Guy
  23. I run fully synth 15w/50 Motul engine oil. No smoking- no tar- no problems and the oil light never comes on. Please do not start an oil thread anyone or I just may have to top myself with boredom! Guy
  24. I think he means Molykote- if you use Motul gear oil there is an additive which means you don't need to worry about adding snot. Guy
  25. Geen probleem Guy
