  1. http://www.primatestore.com/forsale.htm I am training it to clean the bikes and do the housework- basically a monkey butler. Rather than finding it demeaning the monkey is enjoying the responsibilty of performing these tasks. Guy
  2. Lemme see- 2 piece Oxford thermal underwear for the bike Dressing gown Slippers Clarins body moisturiser A monkey Electric wine cooler Wine accesories (bottle stops etc) Seeds for patio garden Chocolate orange Altberg summer bike boots Lots of pressies but she deserves them. Guy
  3. Shell are blaming it on the fire but in fact its down to thier computerised re-ordering system crashing- I have a friend who works for them and has spilled the beans. No problems oop north. Guy
  4. My old Sport Corsa was definitely louder with Termis than my V11 with Mistrals. I was told by onlookers that my Corsa was making the ground shake like an earthquake as I rode along the start / finish straight at Knockhill. I also think the full Termi race system looks good- it was designed for the bike and has a purposeful racing look to it. Enjoy the classical music! Guy
  5. Nice one Alex- you will love the sound!!

You can- David Grist at HC travel will ship or fly your bike over there, arrange insurance and all you have to do is collect it from the docks and ride. Guy
  7. Well basically I think MV got off to a good start- a long waiting list with hundreds of orders for the first F4- I remember a friend waiting months for his. But as you say it was underpowered and he struggled to keep up with my old Sport Corsa which only made about 80 bhp. The lack of poke meant it did not attract the masses who normally ride GSXRs and R1s etc because they are obsessed with horsepower. Then they stopped production because they ran out of money- and that must have dented many peoples confidence in the long term viability of the firm. Undoubtedly the new 1000cc motor has boosted power output but as you say Ben its too expensive- I think about £16k here and its competing against GSXR1000s and R1s that cost half that. Beautiful bikes and I would love to ride one once (I would get banned in a week if I owned one) but I hope they dig themselves out of this because the world needs variety and gorgeous bikes. Guy
  8. I'll think you'll find his left hand is rubbing his flute!
  9. You forgot to mention the Ohlins suspension back and front! Rosso Corsa are quite common over here- maybe about 10 sold but I have never seen a Nero Corsa in a showroom or on the street. Guy
  10. There are some lovely hotted up MVs over here- ex multiple GP champion and TT winner Phil Read sells many tricked up parts- the world is your oyster as long as you have the cash! My fave mod is the blue pipes- they look ace. Guy
  11. Aaaah I see! Reminds me I must buy an American phrasebook before we go on holiday in July so we can talk the local lingo. Guy

Nogbad is looking at arranging a track day with tuition at Cadwell Park in May if you fancy stretching the legs of your MGS01. Guy
  13. I have to diagree with Dirty Bills comments made in 2003! I think this is a friendly forum where everyone helps each other- but I can't be arsed with all that nice helping stuff so if you need help from me F*** Off!! Guy
  14. Us Rosso owners are loners- can't mix well with others so we plod the highways on our own talking to our imaginary friends and pretending everyone thinks our red and gold bikes look great. So no club for ourselves- we leave that to the black and green boys and girls. Guy
  15. The Brutale looks lovely in the flesh- a manfacturer worth saving I think- Tamburini is a genius- the designer of the F4 , Ducati 916 etc. If MV go tits up let get him designing Guzzis! Guy
  16. Is that Ian Anderson from Jethro Tull on the right?????
  17. I like the old Robin Williams joke: "For Christmas I got a sweater, but I would have prefered a screamer or a moaner!" Guy

Yes I too have had good service from Rossopuro. Guy
  20. Just about an inch of snow here- just dropped someone off at Manchester Airport earlier and its sunny over there- sky is grey and more snow predicted. Luckily my Subaru can make it up the hill but I am having great fun watching all the 2 wheel drive cars go backwards! Guy
  21. Pennine branch of MGCGB have a ride out on Thursday morning meeting at either Rawtenstall Asda car park at 9am or Little Chef at Skipton at 10am. It's a mystery tour! I'll be going as long as tomorrows predicted snow is cleared off the roads. Guy
  22. Helen bought me a Dremel box with 66 different heads for cutting / grinding / polishing / drilling / engraving plus light and flexible head. Already lined up several jobs for the next few days. Guy
  23. Yes add up the cost of a lowside minor crash- fairing, rocker covers, silencers etc- the Rossopouro crash mushrooms may be expensive but could save in the long run.
  24. The main track day organiser for Angelsey was Track Time Promotions- unfortunately they have just ceased trading because some idiot who crashed on a track day is suing them. Hopefully another organiser will run some days there next year. Guy
  25. Don't forget that my power to weight ratio is less than yours courtesy of my healthy lifestyle! I am off to the USA for 3 weeks in July and Helen would kill me if I broke my leg so I will be taking it easy methinks- may even take the Harley for the crack or I may cheat and take the R6. Guy
