They have made a production run of FP1s- will cost you well over £20k if you fancy one. Guy

I have had a look through Guzziology for you- no luck I am afraid. If you find out please let me know as Helen's tank is scuffed up too. cheers Guy
  3. There is a quite favourable write up of the new Griso in todays's MCN. Guy
  4. Looks like Poland is the place to get cheap Super U Guy

I used to own 133 out of 200. Had a love hate relationship with it- loved its looks and rortiness but it eventually did my neck in after doing 3000 miles in 7 days so it had to go in favour of a much more comfortable V11. I still miss her though. Glad you are enjoying yours! Guy
  6. What a series! Fair play to the Aussies they pushed us all the way and Shane Warne in particular was sensational but we definitley deserved to win the series. Guy

I am going to have to miss this one- I have an appointment in Huddersfield 1pm on Wednesday. Have a great ride! Yours jealously Guy
  8. I don't know the answer but you could try the MG-Griso.com forum which caters for Breva 1100s. http://www.phpbbforfree.com/forums/mggriso-forum-1.html Guy
  9. If my memory serves me right Tennis were sold with 2 seats- the black one and the suede brown one leaving it up to the owner as to which one to fit. Guy
  10. I think whether its the right bike for you is down to your own approach to riding. When I was 19 shortly after I passed my test I bought a tuned CB900 which was a rorty heavy beast but I had no problems. If you are sensible then go for it. Guy
  11. You can buy a tail piece with integrated indiactors from the Firestarter Garage. Here it is- and you can use the seat hump too: http://rmcube.abd.it/RMcube/servlet/contro...deObject=VR1002 Edited- sorry they are integrated stop lights not indicators- its late here and my brain is frazzled. Guy
  12. I got the price by email- then I paid by Paypal net of Italian tax- the guy there said they would be taking credit cards directly soon. Guy
  13. Yes they do- I have bought stuff from them and they write perfect English. Guy
  14. I have done track days on both my old 1100 Sport Injection Corsa and my current V11 Rosso Corsa and the V11 is a bit quicker by virtue of its better suspension, 6 speed gear ratios, wider rubber and ergonomics- I found the Sporti to be bloody uncomfortable. Neither of them are really sports bikes but both are still a lot of fun on the track. Guy
  15. Mistral managed to make aftermarket cans for the Breva 1100 in time for its launch and I bet they are working hard to make one for a Griso in anticipation of huge demand! Guy
  16. I have to disagree- I had a custom map produced by Hobbsport racing for my PC111 and it has transformed the bike- it runs so sweet and several people who have ridden it, including my local dealer say it is the best sorted V11 they have ever ridden. No pinking at all since I had the PC111 fitted unless I use 95RON. Guy
  17. Well we all know by now not to get carried away but Alan Cathcart is a well respected journalist and racer who has excellent connections with the Italian factories. One thing is for sure- if it is launched at the Autumn shows we won't see it in the showrooms for bloody ages- it takes a lifetime for Guzzi prototypes to become reality which I guess is down to resources. Guy
  18. You had me excited for a few minutes Paul- I was thinking of ordering some 100 octane for the bikes! Shame its a wind up! Guy
  19. In this months Motorcycle Sport and Leisure magazine Alan Cathcart predicts a 1200cc 8 valve street legal MGS01 will be launched during the Autumn bike shows. He has good connections with all the Italian factories so I would bet on it happening. Guy
  20. Here is the story about the delay- but MCN are testing it next week. http://www.motorcyclenews.com/nav?page=mot...=NEWS_NEW-BIKES
  21. I know someone who has a full Akrapovic race system on his Daytona RS- looks and sounds lovely but unfortunately I don't think they made a system for the V11 and they don't list Guzzi on their website any more. The factory is in Slovenia. Guy
  22. I think the name Griso comes from the name of a burly bodyguard in some Italian play or novel. I think it looks best in black- blends in nicely with the motor. Corsa Italiana are quoting an estimated price of £7500 which is £500 more than the Breva 1100. Even though this press release is fanfaring the arrival of the Griso, I understand that it won't hit these shores now until next Spring rather than October as originally predicted. Guy
  23. Do you mean an 1100 Sport Injection Corsa rather than a V11? I bought a binded photocopy workshop manual for my Sport Corsa (when I had one) from Motorworks in Huddersfield for about £20. I still have it even though I sold the bike a few years back but I want to keep the manual. Motorworks don't do Guzzi parts anymore so try either Corsa Italiana or Motomecca. www.corsaitaliana.com www.motomeccaspares.co.uk Guy
  24. If you want a Quat D system Corsa Italiana sell them. I think they look great but have yet to see a healthy dyno chart from a bike equipped with this system. Guy
  25. I am happy with Mistrals- nice noise, not too expensive and seem to work well. The horniest looking silencers I have seen are the Galassetti high rise pipes- don't know anyone who actually has them though and I am not sure if they have any distributors outside of Italy. Here are some pics: http://www.galassetti.it/foto/guzzi/index.php Guy
