  1. Thanks for the info Alex. What I really want is some good campsite recommendations. Cheers Guy

    ALARMMMMM

Sorry to hear your bad news and I really hope you get your pride and joy back. Should string the bastards up from the nearest tree. Guy
  3. We will be enjoying a short raid into Europe this June starting off with the Boxmeer rally. We are toying with the idea of riding into Germany the week after and camping around the Bodensee. I would be greatful to hear from anyone else who has experience of this, and who could recommend some good bike friendly campsites in nice quiet locations. Thanks in advance Guy
  4. Brembo make a kit which enables you to retrofit radial calipers but its bloody expensive. Guy
  5. Hi Brian Can you ring a Guzzi parts distributor and order one over the phone? I am sure someone on your side of the pond could recommend someone who will do fast delivery by post. Regards Guy
  6. Lamborghini = chest wig chariot Undoubtedly a superb car on a big wide open race track but completely crap on real roads. Guy
  7. Is that clock made by Vaglia???
  8. The Rocket 111 is selling like hot cakes over here! The thing with all these power cruisers like the V Rod and Rocket 111 is that they do not get endowed with any decent ground clearance so would get their arses kicked on most twisty roads by a California with just 65bbhp and a decent frame. Even the new Street Rod would get its arse kicked. Guy
  9. That's not a Guzzi it's a Duckati! Ok- I'll get me coat now.
  10. Not my cup of tea but I hope it sells well like the Breva 750.
  11. Bad luck mate- as a serial EBAY scanner I'll keep my eyes peeled for ya! Guy
  12. With my blurred vision I was trying to work out whether she had a tattoo on her stomach or maybe she just needed to trim her bikini line!
  13. Nope- just a failed relay!! Had a spare.
  14. I used it when I toured Ireland last year because I did not fancy the idea of getting a puncture miles from anywhere. You can feel a slight difference in handling, especially in the front wheel but you get used to it. Guy
  15. Agostinis will rent you a Guzzi. See http://www.guzzirent.it/ I'd would get in there quick though because they will be in demand! Guy
  16. The current UK dealer Motori Di Marino is trying to sell new Supertwins (basic model) for £14500 which equates to 20880 euros. I think it may be cheaper to hop on a ferry to Europe and but one over there. I wonder how much the factory charges if you buy a bike directly from them? I just love the Folgore in black with gold OZ wheels and Ohlins. Guy
  17. Belfast Guzzi, A Scura fuel tank on EBAY http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...7962744110&rd=1 Regards Guy
  18. This is the second time that MGUK have used the trip to Mandello incentive to flog a few bikes- I assume it must be popular if they are doing it again. I would love to ride down in September but I don't think I will be able to make it. Had a great time there last July on my V11 so I can't complain too much. Guy
  19. Maybe that guy is quite happy on his own on an island with a cow and does not want to be rescued!
  20. How bout this one?
  21. I would not stand for it mate- get on the phone Moto Guzzi UK and give them a hard time until they sort it out to your satisfaction. Kick some arse! Jaap- can we please have a new smilie showing an arse in the process of being kicked??!! Guy
  22. Here is a little reminder- your black Le Mans breathing in the fresh mountain air.
  23. Motyl Gear oil- SAE75W90 from Motul Don't need to muck around adding molykote with this stuff. Guy
  24. If I had a computer riding with me it would say things like: "Slow down you mad twat!" "You just missed your turning, d***head!" "Shit, we are nearly out of fuel, I told you to fill up back there but you just ignored me!" "You should have had a piss before you put your leathers on!" "Lemme off! Lemme off!" Do Garmin make such technology?
  25. Hi Mal That first day in Belgium was the wettest riding I have ever done. Both yourself and your tyres coped admirably!!! I think we broke the world record for number of thunderstorms in a day, my mobile phone gave up the ghost cos it was so wet but our V11s kept plodding on regardless even though they were basically under water all day. You forgot to mention how well your Diablos coped in the Stelvio snow as well!! Regards Guy
