Cold? I have been badly sunburned at 2 out of the last 3 Scottish rallies! It is normally good weather but I always take my arctic sleeping bag just in case! I'd like to go to the Irish rally but I think we will be heading to Boxmeer instead, which is the weekend afterwards. Guy

Is anyone going to the Scottish Rally on the Isle Of Bute which is being held 29th April to 2nd May? I went last year and it was an excellent bash- nice little island, some good pubs and very cheap beer in the club house. Guy

Yes the fuggin thing is on all the time whether I like it or not! Just like a bloody Volvo!! I think they decided to do it from 2003 onwards. If I was bothered I could fit an older switch unit.

Hi Alex Are you looking to make your bike steer quicker? An easier (and free!) option would be to drop your forks through the yokes- maybe start with 10mm. I know someone who uses his Sporti a lot on the track and he dropped his 20mm and was pleased with the results. May be worth a try! Just a thought Guy

Well the safety Nazis have taken over the European spec V11s as well, and we also have no on / off switches for our headlights. Nice of them to think of our welfare and ensure our lights are on whether we like it or not! Guy

I ran mine with the Termignonis from new so I am afraid I have no comparison. The standard system stayed in its box forever. I do know that the standard system was much heavier than the Termis, and I am sure that the race system must give a few more BHPs, as well as sounding very nice indeed. Guy

Hi Alex The Termi system as sold with the bike new was a full race system- not just the silencers. I think you can probably still buy a system but it will cost a fortune! Yes they were oval. I had the same problem with low speed running but solved that with a Creedon chip. The tyres I used were Pirelli GTS in the standard 160/70 size. These worked much better than the lower profile 160/60 stickier tyres that a couple of my friends fitted. If you opt for the lower profile, it spoils the sweet way the bike steers. I know someone with a yellow Sport Corsa- they do exist but I am not sure how many they made. What number is yours by the way? Regards Guy

Great bike Alex- I used to have a Sport Corsa myself (number 133) but sold it after doing 3000 miles in 7 days and losing all the feeling in my neck for a few weeks! For me, the V11 has much better ergonomics but I still miss the old beast. One question- why do you not run the Termignonis as included in the "race" kit that comes with the Sport Corsa? Actually its pretty highly populated around here, and I live in a large town but you can find empty moorland roads just a few miles away- just the odd farm and pub to break up the landscape. Just need to watch out for the bumps and the odd suicidal sheep when you are out for a ride. Very salty Søren, but I had the hosepipe out as soon as I got back to rinse my baby. Guy

Just been out for a fantastic ride over the local moors- bloody cold but sunny. Not a lot of traffic about and mainly dry roads. This road is about 3 miles from where I live, and has been shut for 2 weeks because of snow and I have been going stir crazy being unable to go out for a good ride. Feel much better now

Yes it seems that the UK is no longer a manufacturing country- more of a technology base. Much cheaper to build it elsewhere. Ariel make a car called an Atom- absolutely no bodywork and you have to wear waterproofs and a helemet. May as well ride a bike when it gets to that stage!
