  1. if you really wanted one, should be relatively easy to make one yourself from a pile of Tonti bits.
  2. Another great site for those who like European mountian roads: My link
  3. What revs do they measure the sound at? If they say rev to 5000 I rev to 4000- nobody has ever noticed cos they are normally too busy looking at the meter!
  4. I shall not be at the Irish bash Antonio- we decided to go to Sibbe in September instead. I have now lost 3.3 kgs- no wonder diets for me- simply eating less, eating a bit healthier, reducing my alcohol intake (sob) and walking / cycling every day. The kind support I have received in sponsorship for Kirkwood Hospice has helped given me a determination to succeed no matter how tough it is. And the great news is that I have calculated that by the time I have finished the power to weight ratio for my V11 would have improved to give me the equivalent boost of 3hp!
  5. Well thank you for your donation James- and also to John in Leeds and Andy Roo- you guys are superstars!! Thank you!!! Guy
  6. Thanks to John from Leeds!!
  7. No worries Ben- not expecting everyone to be able to donate!
  8. Here you go: http://www.maxton.netspinners.co.uk/ May be very busy because racing season is about to start! Ask for Richard. Cheers Guy
  9. 2.6kgs in two weeks- well on schedule, but still I'm still chunky enough to pulverise anyone who insults me!
  10. Hi Andy If you are feeling flush you could take your forks to Maxton near Warrington- for about £400 they will replace all the internals with top notch Maxton parts- and your ride will be much better and more comfy. They will take into account your weight and riding style when rebuilding the forks, and also fit new adjusters. I did this with the forks on Helen's V11 (exactly the same as yours) and the transformation was amazing- and of course you then need to splash out on a new rear shock to make the back end as nice..... Cheers Guy
  11. I really appreciate the generosity of the Guzzi community- thanks to Steve, Gary and Flittingman!! Total raised so far £362.50 plus £68.40 in gift aid (reclaimed tax). Thank you
  12. Hi Andy That is very kind of you- much appreciated- can't see any donations under your name yet- did you make it under the name of Andy Roo? Thanks again Guy P.S. Thanks to James for sponsoring me!
  13. 9 out of 10 people enjoy gang rape.
  14. I recently decided that it was about time I shifted some weight, and at the same time support a worthy cause so I have recently started a sponsored slim in aid of Kirkwood Hospice who provide specialist care for those people in Kirklees facing life-threatening illness. They respect individual needs and wishes caring for the whole person to help them achieve the best possible quality of life. Families, friends and carers are offered additional support and help during the illness and in bereavement. Kirkwood needs to raise over £3 Million in voluntary donations every year for it to mainitain services, so need every bit of help they can get. And just think how much faster my V11 will be afterwards when I have lost 10kgs (22 pounds!) Thanks to Søren and Jaap for their very generous contributions- donations however big or small are very much appreciated. Your donations go direct to the charity itself- please visit my Just Giving page: My link Many thanks Guy

  18. You may get better results by tweaking fuelling but should run fine with no changes. All depends on how perfect you want it and the depth of your pockets!
