  1. Nice and looks like fun! But have they really saved 90 kgs?
  2. Looks like two prototypes- a Le Mans Sports bike, and a roadster. Will probably be made of wood if they appear at Eicma!
  3. Gorgeous special bike congratulations!
  4. How about I write a 50 question motorcycle quiz for Xmas? Anyone who enters donates a small amount on Paypal to a worthwhile charity and winner gets a T shirt?
  5. Please try harder David. Wallace and Grommit sidecar combination.
  6. Guzzi is fastest bike in the world!
  7. I'm quite new to these quizzes- call it beginner's luck!
  8. Obviously a Honda Brasil CB 300R Eu ganhei um prêmio? Guy
  9. What voltage is she showing with the engine running? I had this exactly same issue with Helen's V11 Sport tunred out to be a knackered regulator / rectifier which fried the newish battery.
  10. I am sure its a very proficient bike but its still uglier than Shane McGowans's teeth!
  11. The older aircooled Buells do have some soul- I think it is a shame that Buell has been dumped but I guess understandable- I have never seen an 1125 on the road since it was launched. Too fugly.
  12. Welcome back thought you were in prison!
  13. I have some brand new V11 FBF big valves for sale. 2 x inlet and 2 x exhaust. £100 collected from Huddersfield or posted to UK only (postage extra). PM me if you are interested.
  14. I am sure it is smooth, competent and does everything reasonably well- but where is the soul?
  15. Hi John it's a phrase a friend who goes on the GS forum shared with me it refers to the £expensive BMW clothing that the clones wear! Cheers Guy
  16. Is this the ugliest mofoing bike you have every seen? I think a few Honda bosses will be comitting harakiri when it turns out to be a utter sales flop: I expect it will be overpriced and over complicated too.

    Which V11?

The Ballabio, Cafe Sport and Coppa Italia all have bar risers as standard. But in any case, you can convert other models which have clip ons as standard to having risers. Cheers Guy
  18. Yes modern Beemers do have a reputation for unreliability two friends of mine who had GSes both had serious problems with their bikes and the rip off dealers. But my main issue with BMWs and GSes in particular is how bloody many of the things are on the road. I often see 10 GSes in a day all dressed identically kitted out to go round the world whereas in reality they are doing a 5 mile trip to the shops! I blame Ewan and Charley for starting this and I can't believe how many people feel the need to follow the crowd. I would never trust that rear drive bearing either. Overrated and overpriced. Guy P.S. An old R80GS with 200k miles on the clock IS a cool bike but a 1200GSA with knobblies and a rider in a twat suit isn't!
  19. As sold by TLM. Looks good with clip ons.
  20. Not sure if this is a bit too sporty for what you are after, but my Triumph Sprint ST is the best mile eater I have ever owned. It has high clip ons, panniers as standard and I have fitted the aftermarket gel comfort seat. Tank range is about 200 miles and it is so comfortable- and the great thing is that you can have great fun in the twisties too. The triple motor is full of grunt and character too- sounds great with the TOR end can and the fuelling is perfect. A bike you can tour on without feeling like a pensioner! In the UK much chepaer than Beemers and Guzzis too.
  21. Thanks for setting this up Jaap. Mrs Guzzirider and myself will be attending! We stayed at La Chaussee again last year
  22. Sounds great to Mrs Guzzirider and myself Jaap!
  23. Nearly there now- just need to get Motogadget instrument unit wired in, fit number plate and replace indicators with the Rizoma items I have in a box.
  24. Thats nothing I overtook a milk float and a pushbike last week! Joking aside, a well ridden Harley can be quite fast.
