  1. I ain't saying a word.....
  2. We last greased the UJ on Helen's bike about 8000 miles ago, and she is about to do a 3000 mile tour, which will still be within the recommended service interval but I am pondering whether to do it now. Is there any evidence out there to say this is worth doing ahead of Guzzi's recommended service intervals? Guy
  3. Another Stelvio test from French channel Motors TV. There is also an English version but the translation is so poor it is garbage.
  4. Who would like to buy the lady a drink?
  5. I only do that in the privacy of my own garage when I am alone with the bikes, naked as the day I was born with an oily rag to mop up the mess.
  6. That is probably the most realistic test I have read so far- with the main difference being the guy has obviously had the bike for some time rather than just a short hop down the road. I had fun riding my V11 last weekend to Scotland but it seemed very sloooooow compared to the Stelvio!
  7. Bike Of The Month! Lets start a campaign now!
  8. All I can add to this stupid conversation is....... ARSE!!!
  9. Talking of riding skills, Keith impressed the Cheshire Constabulary so much with his own riding masterclass, they gave him a nice certificate to congratulate him! What nice fellows!
  10. Glad you made it John- and it was nice to see a Rosso Corsa in the same lovely state as Guzzi intended! Masterclass? That's not the word the traffic cops normally use to describe my riding....
  11. Ahhhhhh true love
  12. I would maybe do Ireland this September- we were thinking of going over to see some friends in Galway some time so could combine the two. Can't do weekend of 19th / 20th September- we are riding down to the Goodwood revival. Would prefer to do Denmark next year if possible. Guy P.S. Mrs Guzzirider would probably prefer me not to chase loose women!
  13. If it had been drinking your blood it would have been a very pissed tick!
  14. Photos taken by Linz. Because she is a girlie, there are more people pics rather than bikes!
  15. Got back about 4pm- had a leisurely ride back through Trough Of Bowland and Forest Of Gisburn so we could avoid a huge chunk of motorway. I thought the location was good, the food and drink excellent, the roads great fun but best of all, the company of fellow riders made it into a very enjoyable weekend. The hotel room had an excellent view (picture of the bridge and river was taken from our window), really enjoyed the ride out, celebrating Jaap's birthday, and am still in awe of Søren's iron butt! Guy
  16. Excellent Keith! Bring your midge repellant- BFG arrived last night and he said there are a few biters about! Søren finally gave up near Peterborough- tail light had blown, it was pissing down and he already done over 800 miles that day. Must have an iron butt!
  17. In France? He pops on to the Squadra Guzzista forum every now and then- but not for while.
  18. Progress update- Søren has had a nightmare getting through Belgium and France and has only recently arrived at Calais- he still intends on riding up here. BFG finally made it onto the ferry and is eating pie and chips! I should have one those big tables like they did in Fighter Control in the Battle Of Britain monitoring the progress of all the Guzzis as they arrive. Guy
  19. Get a move on its 15.53
  20. I'd think he would make an excellent gimp for Belfastguzzi- his Scura shed is apparently very dark and lonely
  21. Would you like an alarm call before the next one?
  22. Great stuff Fergal! See you tomorrow! Cheers Guy
