  1. The concert was a one off event in memory of the founder of Atlantic records who passed away this year. Over a million people applied for the 9000 pairs of tickets which were allocated by ballot. Tickets were £125 each and by all accounts the gig was brilliant. Don't expect a reunion tour- I believe this was a one off.
  2. National Lampoon European Vacation
  3. Looks overpriced and overrated! You'd have to be a committed Boxer fan with plenty of spare cash to even think about it. At least there are plenty of options out there now for the twin cyclinder sports bike fanatic. Guy
  4. They wear furry ones!
  5. There is plenty of life after cancer- and a Guzzi will help you get back on your feet in a flash! Guy
  6. I have been wanting to buy some mushroom head guards for Helen's V11 as a Xmas present (I know how treat a lady!) and have been waiting patiently for the Rossopuro website to be fully functioning. I explained in an email to Paolo at Rossopuro that I was keen to get them in the post because it was for a Xmas present for my wife, and I got a reply from him during the week that he has already shipped them to me, and I can pay when the website is ready. The site is up and running now, so I have been able to send him the payment, but hats off to Paolo and Rossopuro- great guys! Guy
  7. I've been trying to order some items as a Xmas present for Helen but the website is still not functional- you can't buy anything online yet. Guy P.S. Belgiancentauro you are a lucky guy! Please let us know how easy they are to fit, and how they ride- and some fitted pics!
  8. I took the Marzocchi forks to Maxton Engineering (who built the forks for the TT Tenni) and they transformed them- threw away all the standard internals and fitted their own parts, together with new adjusters for each leg. If you wish to replace your Sachs rear shock, Antonio has a good contact who can get you an Ohlins rear for about 600 euros, which is dirt cheap. If you have plenty of time and patience and wish to do the forks yourself, Ratchethack will I am sure butt in at any moment to tell you that you don't really need Ohlins etc etc etc.......the floor awaits you Sir...... Guy P.S. Ohlins are gold- that's really important too
  9. I have both versions in my garage- the Ohlins suspension is light years ahead in terms of ride quality and comfort, although the Marzocchis can be impoved with modification.
  10. Thanks for the info. The reason I have chosen Nordkapp is that I have stuck a pin in the map and said I would ride there to raise funds for a local hospice- so even if its a bit barren up there that's where I'm going! Thanks again Guy
  11. I see the new 1098R is on the pace already in the current WSB tests- not a surprise seeing as Ducati have been testing it for months. Should sound nice at 200mph at the NW.
  12. There are many versions of the Monster front wheel- not heard of anyone doing the swap- doesnt mean its not possible. If you mean the very lightweight Marchesinis as fitted to my S4Rs I could check in the garage for you to see if it looks feasible if you had the right spacers etc. would look weird unless you had a smiliar rear though. Guy
  13. Here is a pic of my zumo 550 mounted using the standard Garmin motorcycle mount which I believe is made by RAM.
  14. If there is nobody in the USA you could always order from a European distributor. These guys for example: Twinshack- they are used to shipping abroad. Guy
  15. A friend has a 1200 Sport and I believe the panniers are exactly the same as the Breva panniers, and clip on in the same fashion. The 1200 Sport is just a Breva with a slightly bigger motor, different bars, small nose fairing and paint job.
  16. Nice!
  17. Hi Gary Is the Cafe Sport headlight the smaller type as fitted to the Le Mans, rather than the larger Bosch unit as fitted to the V11 Sport? If so, the part number for the complete unit is 01740465 for left hand drive- could not find a part number for the lens only- usual rip off! Is there a serial number on the lens you could Google to see if you can find any alternative suppliers? Cheers Guy

    Stelvio

That must be a record- from official unveiling in just over a month- Guzzi are learning! Remember how long it took a Griso to find itself into a showroom!
  19. Hi there If you get no luck on this forum, try the Guzzitech Forum which is more intended for Breva owners. Cheers Guy
  20. Yes they do work well, even though they are ugly. Have saved my V11 from any major damage on two occasions when otherwise I may have broken brake levers, plug caps etc.
  21. Brilliant guys- I really appreciate your advice- thanks for taking the time to share your knowledge. I am so looking forward to breathing the fresh air where I get into the wilds of Norway- and yes I'll keep my eyes peeled for them wild animals! I've booked the time off work so its going to happen! Cheers Guy
