  1. Can we please have a 3rd voting option for those of us who are not intelligent enough to understand this debate? Maybe "Too many long complicated words and no pictures, therefore I don't give a f*ck" Guy
  2. James Blunt is featured in this month's Viz magazine- a free wallchart of Tw*ts And Ar**holes Of The British Isles. Even though he sings like a girl, and is too much of a puff to ride his Guzzi, even I think that is a little harsh. Guy
  3. Great pictures- looks like a fantastic ride! I was in Cabo San Lucas when the hurricane hit recently- the roads were damaged and I saw a few houses where the locals were cleaning up mud from them, but apart from that it did not seem too bad. I was in a deep sleep when the hurricane hit (after a stag do around all the harbour bars) and missed all the fuss. Had to drink tequila from a big plastic bottle with a dead decomposing rattlesnake- there were scales and bits of flesh floating in it. Guy
  4. I think we will be up for it again, but I won't be able to confirm until nearer the time due to work committments. Nice change of location, Chris!
  5. We observed 2 minutes silence at 11am yesterday during the AGM of the Yorkshire Motorcycle Action Group. I cast a few thoughts back to my Great Grandfather who died when his ship was torpedoed in the Corinth Canal in WW1, my Great Uncle who was killed fighting the Japanese in WW2 and my Grandfather who was held as a POW for 4 years in WW2. Our lives are much easier because of the sacrifices of their generations. Guy
  6. If you do a search on EBay there are normaly PC111USBs for sale at a reasonable price.
  7. There is a stainless oil feed pipe to the back of the head- is this secured properly? Guy
  8. I can tell that winter is drawing in...arguments over which oil filter to use...I can feel a war thread coming on......and 40 more quizzes.......
  9. Being pedantic here, Jim but I think that is a Lemon IV- is that a 16" front wheel? Nice bike though!! Guy
  10. I've plumped for the Lemon V- it is an underated bike ignored by many of the Tonti snobs because of the plasticky modern (at the time) look. In reality it goes really well and is not too much slower than a V11, plus the great thing is that they are half the price of a Lemon 1 or 2. Big valves and 40mm dellortos add up to a rorty experience and they sound great with Mistrals- at around £1500 for a private buy, a Guzzi bargain. Guy
  11. Vote away- just a bit of fun- can't imagine in a million years that we will be getting to see anything really exciting or innovative at Milan this month! Guy
  12. More like this..
  13. BOBFOC (Body Off Baywatch Face Off Crimewatch)
  14. 2 questions: 1/ Is that hair real? 2/ Is KY the place where the jelly is made? Guy
  15. Try Teo Lamers (www.tlm.nl) they are normally pretty good with paint codes.
  16. Does anyone remember the days when the reason for buying new silencers (aka mufflers) was because the old ones had rusted away? Does this still ever happen???
  17. I found a big bastard bit of curly swarf in the sump of Helen's bike when I removed the pan for the first time so I reckon its always worth taking an extra 20 minutes to do the job properly. I had to drop the sump on my V11 earlier this year as I accidentally dropped a big piece of kitchen roll in there while the heads were off, it just disappeared into the oil and I could not hook it out so my bike got an earlier than scheduled oil change! Do I win some sort of prize?
  18. Use your imagination Antonio- one boobie for the man, and one each for his 2 attractive bisexual girlfriends!
  19. Next year will be great- and with the reduction in engine capacity, I am sure we will get some surprise new contenders on the pace. I have seen comments from those who have tested the 800cc bikes that corner speeds will be much higher than the current machines- who will this favour? The little guys who were great on 250s? You would assume that HRC will be ahead of the rest in terms of machine development with their massive resources, so Nicky will get a great chance to win it again next year, preferably with style. If he does not, he may disappear from people's minds as a champ. Anyone remember Alex Criville or Kenny Roberts Jr title wins? Are they considered the best rider of their times- or good riders that got lucky 'cos the real daddy had bad luck, was absent or injured? Guy
  20. I've voted for the V11 Sport- simple classic lines with plenty of soul.
  21. Congratulations to Nicky- in the end he got most points and that is what matters. But what a ride from Bayliss- he is something completely special- his first time on Birdgestones too. Nice one Troy!! Guy
  22. I do actually have a few ideas in this respect!!
  23. I use nothing as I ride with the visor slightly raised on my Arai in winter but Helen uses a Fog city visor insert, as does a friend of mine who wears specs. They both say it works well. I've noticed the trees have dumped their leaves this week and its been a bit slippy slidey but still great fun. Guy
